Last night was an incredible experience with Caroline and Leah (I hope I spelled their names correctly). The restaurant’s ambiance made us feel like friends chatting rather than customers and staff. The manager was incredibly attentive, paying close attention to our request about a song playing and going above and beyond to assist us. The food exceeded my expectations. My favorites were the Frijoles Puercos, Birria de Borrego and the avocado margaritas. Everything was delicious, but I believe the exceptional service from Caroline and Leah truly made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

The baked scallops dish was maybe my favorite, but everything we ordered was phenomenal. We showed up a little before 4pm (when they open) and stood in line with no reservation – we got a table for 3 with essentially no wait. Maybe we got lucky, but I would definitely recommend going any chance you get. I could see going here on a date, or even bringing family/friends visiting from out of town. Or you could just make a random evening extra special.
All in all, they are running a finely-tuned machine over here and really execute their dinner service so well. It’s a great overall experience and a contender, in my book, for best restaurant in Denver.

We had an incredible meal at Alma Fonda Fina. It’s easy to be skeptical of the hype but this place earns it. The staff is super down to earth despite the accolades and the service is some of the best I’ve had in Denver lately. The interior is gorgeous, moody, cool, and perfect for a date. Everything we ate was a 10/10. It’s busy and loud, but in a way that feels fun rather than annoying. Can’t wait to go back!

What an incredible meal! We were able to snag a last minute reservation due to a cancellation. The ambiance and service are great! The vibe is relaxed and even though every seat was taken, it wasn’t too loud and didn’t feel crowded. Our party of five enjoyed every plate we got! My favorite was probably the scallops- unimaginably tender! The food is delicious and all the prices were reasonable for the quality.

Once again, Alma knocked our boots off. From the happy hour tostada with avocado, crab, and habanero sauce to the avocado margaritas, sweet potato with whipped requeson, scallops in a ponzu butter, chicken taco mole rojo, and the lamb shank.. absolutely no notes. Great vibe, great place, Samantha was a fabulous waitress as well.

Had so much fun coming in with family & enjoying a meal! Love that everything is intended for sharing & family style (the way the best food always is!)
All around great food, and fantastic service. The two dishes that really wow’ed the whole group were the sweet potato & the NY strip tar tar! Really fresh, tasty, and unexpected! We were also pleasantly surprised by the frijoles paired with sourdough tortillas! The texture & flavor profile of the tortillas was almost akin to a prata or dosa. So good!
We tried nearly everything on the menu save for about 4 things. Of the seafood dishes, the hamachi was fantastic!! The pineapple puree is a symphony.
The mushroom quesadilla surprisingly outshone the enchilada for us! The birria was fall-off-the-bone, not too salty, and had a wonderfully acidic but fatty broth.
It’s at a great price point for a one star establishment- making it much more accessible for anyone to try a few plates without breaking the bank on a pre fixe!

I had a superb dining experience at Alma Fonda Fina. We started with the Camote Asado, and it set the tone immediately. The slightly charred edges brought a smoky depth that elevated the natural sweetness of the potato. It was layered, balanced, and unexpectedly bold—an inventive, memorable way to showcase something so humble.
The Ceviche de Atún absolutely stole the show. Bright, clean, and intensely flavorful without overpowering the fish, it tasted like something you’d enjoy barefoot on a Mexican beach. The acidity and seasoning were dialed in perfectly, letting the tuna shine while still delivering serious impact.
We finished with the Enmoladas de Pollo, and it was a strong close. The mole had real depth—rich, nuanced, and comforting without being heavy. It felt thoughtful and complete, the kind of dish that lingers long after the last bite.
This place knows exactly what it’s doing. Confident flavors, creative execution, and a menu that invites you back. I’ll absolutely be returning to explore more.

The most amazing meal we’ve ever had! We were able to get here right at 4pm on a Saturday and got a table inside until 5:15pm since we didn’t make reservations. Our server, Jonathan, was so personable and knowledgeable. The service, food, and experience overall was beyond expectation. We ordered the sweet potato, the short rib, and the lamb shank. We would consider coming back to visit Colorado just to experience this again! Thank you for being a highlight of our weekend visiting Denver!

I don’t know if words can describe the tantalizing way in which this food satisfies your taste buds, but hopefully this opening sentence takes you there! Everything was perfectly plated, seasoned, and served. Plus, the happy hour menu offerings are amazing! Get the chille relleno, you’ll thank me later!! You can always tell a good restaurant by their margaritas. Alma serves up one of the finest, smooth but potent! We sat outside on a gorgeous day – friends, excellent food, strong drinks, perfect weather… need I say more?! Go, be merry, enjoy!

This restaurant has such a bright, lively vibe and a diverse menu that makes the whole experience feel special.
We started with the tuna tartare, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor thanks to all the different sauces. The rock shrimp tostada from the happy hour menu was a must try, and the baked scallops were perfectly cooked and so flavorful.
The real star of the night was the NY strip, incredibly juicy, cooked just right, and full of flavor. Definitely a dish worth coming back for.
