I ordered the falafel bowl and it was delicious! They made the falafel fresh while I waited. The other toppings tasted fresh too. They were very accommodating. My father is a vegan and they left the dairy based dressing off for him. Looking for good Mediterranean food checkout this restaurant.

Absolutely terrible experience.
Paid an extra $2 for “halal chicken”, and what I got was a sandwich stuffed with fries and barely any meat. The tiny bit of chicken in there was chewy, dry, and tasted old — definitely not “fresh” like they claim. Total rip-off.

$10 for this garbage? What a joke. Don’t waste your money here. Go literally anywhere else — you’ll thank yourself later.

I stopped by TAZA for lunch and got a salad with double chicken—it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the white sauce on the salad was amazing, and the pickles were super tasty.

The place itself is very neat and clean, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s definitely a great spot for a fresh, satisfying lunch when you’re in Ames.

Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!

Good food, fair prices. Very clear knowledge of what is and isn’t vegan, because some traditionally vegan things were not.

Made the falafel by hand when i ordered it.

Falafel bowl: 9/10

Taza has a new menu item! Stuffed Falafels, Two for $2.99! So hot and fresh. Their Spring Chicken Shawarma is my go to meal — fresh, healthy and filling. Now I’ll have find room for Stuffed Falafel!

Nice little spot that adds a little diversity to the food scene on that side of town. We ordered the falafel and were pleased to see it made to order. The wraps are a decent price and filling. I would recommend this spot to locals and out of towners.

The food was good and reasonably priced, but the inside of the restaurant was very dirty. It looked like the floors had not been cleaned in quite some time.

Rude staff.
Their fried beef (meat) samosa is DANGER. It is bound to cause stomach pain. I tired it twice before adding this comment.

Chicken Shawarma is nice, but if you go at the wrong time, they wont hesitate in feeding you the stale one.
