Service was great from start to finish, and they bring out warm pita with a za’atar and olive oil dip right away — honestly so good and a strong first impression.

For appetizers, we ordered the Taza sampler. The hummus was a 10/10 (creamy, flavorful, and easily the standout), and the baba ghanoush was also very good. The meat was well seasoned but a bit dry. Couscous was pretty average, while the salata was fresh and enjoyable. Portions were generous, which we appreciated.

For entrées, we had the salmon, which was cooked very well. The Lebanese cinnamon rice that came with it was just okay, and I wasn’t a big fan of the walnut salad.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Overall, I’m not sure if it was just what we ordered, but I’d definitely come back for the hummus/pita and would be interested in trying different dishes next time.

Considering my experiences with Mediterranean cuisine in New York City, coming to Cleveland, I can say that Taza have set a high standard.

The availability of ample and complimentary parking is certainly a convenient feature.

the staff is known for their generosity, friendliness, and respectful demeanor.

The restaurant’s ambiance sounds quite outstanding, suggesting a fine dining experience.

Regarding the food, the diverse menu and the flavorful vegetarian options, such as the falafel sandwich and platter, are particularly appealing. I am also looking forward to trying their chicken shawarma on my next visit. Overall, it seems like an excellent place to explore Mediterranean cuisine in Cleveland.

I was very impressed with Taza. Went with 3 others, and we were all very impressed with the food. Appetizers were (especially the hummus and Lebanese jibneh) were fantastic – we even ordered a second jibneh for the table.

The seasoning and cook on all dishes was fantastic, and the portions were generous.

My only note would be on the baklava desserts – I’m used to baklava being drenched in honey, but it was lightly applied here.

Our server, Nate was very friendly and attentive despite it being a busy evening.

All in all, I highly recommend Taza.

Terrible portions. Terrible service . This restaurant used to be so good. I used to love the atmosphere.
I went out to celebrate my birthday with my family and my servers attitude along with the terrible portions and service ruined it. Expecting me to pay $24 for five small pieces of burnt meat in this economy is insane. If you want to celebrate any other occasion, please do not give this establishment any more money.
Oh, and also their pita bread that they keep raising the price on is burnt and incredibly dry.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. The Ahi Tuna was out of this world and so was the shish kabob. The wait staff is so thoughtful and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean and cozy. It’s just perfect for friends, romance or anything else you have in mind.

I never ever would write a negative review unless I really have to! Such a disappointment. Coming from a Lebanese/Syrian immigrant who knows about food and how it should be.
Disgraceful and embarrassing to my culture to serve such quality (and quantity!!) …
Mixed grill II, for $34, had ONLY ONE single crumbled piece of “kafta” with no shape and insanely salty (and I love salt!), four super tiny cubed pieces of beef, and the chicken we could not eat. Very dry and all pieces burnt. Tasted bitter. Got an extra plate of chicken shishtawook, and was the same, not edible bc of how dry and burnt. Veggies were mostly green pepper and carrots. Not common side veggies we use for such dish but it’s ok if they were fresh / inviting and they were not.
I shared my disappointment with the young manager on site, I invited her to sit by me and assess / touch the dry burnt pieces of chicken. She agreed and saw how bad they were…. She only apologized and later, the bill came $95+ with no courtesy discount .. which I’m not asking for or expecting, but it’s the very least !!!!
The one remedy, was the hummus which was quite good and we at least enjoyed that. I won’t be back for sure.

Food was outstanding!!
The host and maybe the owner gentleman was so friendly. The waiter was not great at all. Part of our order was wrong but with the time we waited we just sucked it up.
The wait time for a table was about 25 minutes the time to get our drink order once we sat about 10 minutes and about 20 minutes to take our order. The restaurant was extremely loud which might bother some people. But hey the food was delicious so that mostly what counts.

This place is one of my happy places. Great vibes, delicious food and wine! Agree with another reviewer that the bartenders go out of their way to make everyone feel like family. New server on the patio tonight, Dalisha, was pleasant, attentive and efficient!! Food was amazing as always. The cauliflower appetizer is my most favorite thing on the menu!

Really delicious food, classy atmosphere, and overall refreshing experience. I’ve been in the mood to try something different. I decided to try the sampler and it was a perfect way to try three different dishes. You get a basket of bread and dipping sauce so this could easily be enough for two people to share. I also ordered a side of falafel that was delicious, I loved them with the white sauce. I didn’t receive a drink or dessert menu but they have a full bar and the server did ask if we had room for dessert.

This was my first time visiting this area but I hope to come back soon and will definitely consider coming back here.
