Okay, so none of this is to be taken negatively.
The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. If you’re looking for steak that’s halal, I don’t think you can beat this place. I think there’s a little more refinement required in the waitstaff, and it’s hard to build an ambiance with a giant neon sign as well as the bright white lights that are in the back of house.
I definitely think that everyone cares about the product of the food and the experience, but I feel like slight bit of organizational process around how to get food to tables as well as more frequent checks for water are required before I can bump up the review.
That being said, the food is excellent, this is a great place to come if eating a steak that is halal is important to you. Definitely better than you can make at home, and very pleasant

Gadget Crazy Tricks
I asked for 3 lb of beef and was charged for 3 lb, but after the butcher trimmed the fat, the final weight of the meat provided was approximately 2.75 lb. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told “that’s how it is” — with no explanation and no price adjustment.
In California, food sold by weight is expected to be charged based on net weight, not an undisclosed pre-trim figure. Charging customers for weight they do not actually receive is misleading.
I then spoke directly with the owner and attempted to explain that other shops provide meat accurately by weight and that, as a halal business, honesty in weighing is an important principle. The owner responded dismissively, stating “no Islamic or nothing—go buy from another place and don’t come back, I will sell like this.”
This interaction demonstrated a complete lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect for basic consumer standards. I do not object to paying for quality; I do object to being overcharged and spoken to in this manner when raising a legitimate concern.
Based on this experience, I will not be returning and do not recommend this establishment to anyone who values honesty and fair business practices.

The food was very good, even though the place looks very unassuming. They have something for everyone – kebobs, steaks, burgers etc. I will be back to this place to try some of their other menu items.

We hired Tayyibaat to cater for my son’s wedding and it was a home run. I don’t recall being at a wedding feeding 150+ people where people go out of their way to comment how good the food was. That was our experience. I don’t think you can get this level of quality and flavor for a large event without adding an extra 5k to the price tag. Literally everything they served was a hit from the meat, to the sauces, to even the classic Afghan salad with diced up onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Be sure to get the eggplant as well.
