Moonlit Burgers makes my favorite smash burgers in Pittsburgh. The quality of ingredients is really good and everything came out fresh and delicious. The service also stood out as being great. We were asked throughout our meal how the food was and if we needed anything. I also thought the atmosphere and vibe was cool and the decor was contemporary.

This new location in Garfield is a bright and adorably decorated place to get a delicious smash burger. The staff is friendly and welcoming, with plenty of seating in the dining area or at the bar. There are numerous craft beer options from local breweries, and drinks are reasonably priced (beer & shot combo for $6). The burgers are well seasoned, with fresh and delicious toppings. To finish, there’s Millie’s ice cream and some very tasty milkshake options. Large windows allow plenty of sunlight, and the dining area feels very open. All tables and surfaces are regularly kept clean, and restrooms are well-kept. Would highly recommend the Bacon Double and side Caesar. Great, chill spot to eat alone, or with a group. Will return.

We dined here with a party of 5. Service was timely and very professional. Our server thanked us each time he brought food to our table and it was very charming!
We got the Classic Moonlit Triple, one with a ton of modifications (no bun, no cheese, sauce on the side) and one prepared the standard way. Both were amazing, they had no issue with the modifications!
We also got the shoestring fries and asked for them well done so there was a bit more crispiness.
Our table also got lots of Millie’s soft serve ice cream and milkshakes. Everyone enjoyed their food and we plan to visit again.
The atmosphere inside was clean and it was very active when we visited at 6 pm

The Classic Moonlit Double was fantastic. Crispy yet juicy, with a great sauce and grilled onions. The $4 shoestring fries were plenty for two people, and the picnic bean salad went great with everything, bright and sweet. I left feeling satisfied yet craving more, so I came back for lunch the next day. This is how burgers should be!

The food was excellent and the service was great, my biggest disappointment was that every drink I was served(including water)was in a new disposable plastic cup. I hope this is something that changes once they’re settled in but it was not the feeling I got. Will definitely return for delicious burger and fries but will probably not go as much as I would otherwise just due to the amount of waste.
