We came here for Valentines day dinner with our friends and it did not disappoint. They had a special menu. Their prime rib was delicious with au jus, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We also added French onion soup and it was one of the best soups we’ve had. Not salty like other places. Dessert, we had the cheesecake and it tasted homemade fresh. Service and ambiance were all great!! Highly recommended!! 5 stars

Grade A (93): The meat is great at Taylor’s. Our server, I had the Chateaubriand which was on the Friday specials’ list. Definitely coming back to test the Ribeye and the Prime Rib. Sides were good, Chili with Filet Mignon pieces was a great touch, very tasty, (Fries, Baked potato, Onion rings etc.) Forgot to take a picture of the fries, they are thick cut and delicious. Meats were tender and came perfect as each of us asked for different temperatures. I will definitely go back.

I would recommend this place over Ruth’s Chris any day, and twice on Sunday. This is the first time I’ve asked for medium rare and didn’t get meat with a heartbeat. Most places bring it out raw in the middle. The service was incredibly good. Their steak fries with your steak are a must, especially if you love dipping them in the meat juices. I had heard rumors about the owner being racist and putting minorities in the back, but I didn’t see anything like that.

Ive been coming here for the last two years but never coming again! I went in the other night for dinner with the wife. The food never took that long to come out and the place was empty at the time, we got there before the rush. Once we got the food it was mediocre at best, no seasoning, bland and overcooked. I dont know if they got a new cook or what but no flavor at all. But thats not the worst part, when we left 2 hours later, i find my car ABOUT TO GET A TICKET!!! I asked the reason why and they said that Taylor’s owners want cars ticketed and towed if they are parked too long! Beware of this place. They take forever to give you your food AND still want your car to get a ticket for being parked too long. Avoid this place, there’s better food out there without parking tickets included….

I used to come here when I worked at JPL and always had good memories, but tonight was pretty awful. The Filet Mignon was supposed to be medium, but it was charred outside and rare inside. Texture was right, but the flavor was flat and boring. Sister also got a filet, hers was overcooked, grey all the way through. Hubby said the Prime Rib was good.

Dessert was mediocre ice cream and grocery store whipped cream with hershey’s. Bread pudding flavor was ok, but was super hot just in the middle, as if it were microwaved.

Drinks took 15 minutes, food order was taken as drinks were delivered, and then food took another 20 minutes, and not everyone got their food. Last person was served 10 minutes later.

They brought bread service even though no one asked for it, almost everywhere else, that means it’s complimentary, but here they charged us $2.

Waiter dropped off the bill and then disappeared, I had to go find him, chatting at the bar.

Overall disappointed, won’t be back. If you want good steak go somewhere else.

My wife brought me here for my birthday.
Let me start by saying how pleasantly surprised I was that, despite there being zero parking available for blocks, the valet parking was only $5.50. On entering, the atmosphere was very romantic – dark wood with low lighting.
The service was very good, but not remarkable.
We ordered a 20oz porterhouse to share, and asked for it to be cooked medium. The chef was gracious enough to cut it and plate it on separate plates for us. It was very tasty, but seemed to be medium rare rather than medium. I was also disappointed that it did not have any char on it. But it was extremely tender, and juicy.
We also each got a salad. They were a good size, and very fresh. My wife liked that her Bleu cheese dressing was thin. My ranch dressing was also thin, but I don’t like it that thin.
Topping off the meal was the staff surprising us with an ice cream sundae with a birthday candle as they sang Happy Birthday to me, which i thought was very nice! Plus the sundae was fabulous!! I really need to find out what brand of ice cream they used!
All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would go back.

All I can say is that the lower the price of an item, the better it tasted. We ordered the specials at 45-50$ a piece, and these were flavorless. We then ordered a burger to hope it would satisfy a taste, but it fell apart after the first bite. We had to order the mashed potatoes to satisfy our hunger and these being $3 a piece had the best taste of the night. I would NOT recommend this steakhouse to anyone wanting a steak.

Filet mignon was a perfectly cooked medium! I would have like a bit of salt but the mushroom sauce made up for it. Mashed potatoes were creamy. The French Onion Soup was really good. Overall.. great dining experience for a good price.
