Great butcher shop, was able to get a cut of meat here that I have not been able to find anywhere else in southern Indiana or Louisville. It is a flat iron steak but not separated out into individual steaks. I got the whole cut and cooked it like a Texas style Brisket. Turned out great. Also if you are in the store, do yourself a favor and try some boudin balls.

Ellis Taylor and company are fantastic! They were set up at harvest homecoming serving piping hot, refreshingly delicious gumbo and seafood balls with a flavor out of this world! Highly recommend stopping by their meat shop and get it while the gumbo is hot and the meats are cold !!!

Great location for Cajun food. Their boudin is amazing, frog legs also! If traveling very far, I’d highly recommend calling ahead to ensure they have what you need as they often sell out of popular items and you may have to wait a couple days for restock.

This is a quaint local place. It’s a meat market but also serves a daily lunch special. They have several frozen products, like twice baked potatoes and stuffed pork tenderloin, even frog legs. The food is a little spicy but very good. I would recommend this place.

1st time customer. We bought a small stuffed pork loin. I thought it was a little over priced but I Was Wrong. I followed the cooking directions on the web site and it came out perfect. We paired it with a potato carrot and onion hash. Wonderful dinner for the two of us plus the other half we’ll have on a nice green salad. We will be back.

This place is a hidden gem in southern Indiana! I have had just about every plate lunch they offer, and I’ve purchased lots of frozen items to cook at home. Every single thing has been amazing. Their bacon burgers, stuffed chickens, boudin balls, and Cajun potatoes are supreme. Can’t recommend them enough!
