This was our first time dining here. We were awed by the decor, which was a mix of Mexican themes and Christmas holiday themes.
The service was great! We were well taken care of, and within a minute of finishing our plates, someone was there to clear the table.
But by far the best part was the food and drink! The cocktails were authentic and delicious, and the food was the best Mexican food we have had in the area. We highly recommend Tavos!

Remember the first time your dad said he was proud of you? Do you remember thinking you knew everything about love as a freshman at your liberal arts college?
Tavos Antojitos is those feelings in an edible form. Mezcal margs with tajin rims will warm your heart and open you up to new possibilities, guacamole with a crema and chili oil and pepita seeds let you know you’re not having an average night.
You feel brave, you try – trust me – the garlic mashed potato filled taco with rojo sauce – the tacos de nada. What’s that feeling? I don’t know but it reminds me of Christmas 98 vibes when I got a Nintendo 64.
The huarache is so many textures and flavors perfectly balanced that it wouldn’t be fair to let it enter any competition. Self control? Not tonight. Does Tavos Antojitos have it all?
Finally we had some enchiladas verde, filling, but lighter than the average dairy bomb making it perfectly balanced and creamy. What? Honestly I’m upset and praise the lord I don’t live within a walking radius. Tavos Antojitos translates to Your Snacks but I believe it translates to Heaven on Earth.

We went on a busy Friday night 7pm and had amazing food. There was a backup in the kitchen but we were forewarned which was nice to know instead of feeling ignored.
Pico de gallo $4 very fresh
I got a sample of the chicken chalupa, barbacoa burrito, and carnitas sopes with a side of rice and beans and was properly full, great flavors and value.
Also tried the 3 sauce enchiladas and was great too (creamy chipotle sauce was salty)
Margarita was strong and fresh! Waited a while for it but worth the wait

We’ve had the chance to enjoy this spot in a few different ways – sat at the bar, dined inside and relaxed outside on the patio. Every experience has been fantastic. The tacos were delicious with fresh, flavorful and packed with seasoning to taste. The drinks are just as impressive even though it’s changed since our first time here. Whether we were sipping on a mocktail or trying one of their signature creations, we haven’t been disappointed. Each staffs members we interacted were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re grabbing a bite, going out for drinks or settling in for a relaxed dinner, Tavos will deliver!

Tavos was excellent! It was packed on a Friday night, and I can see why. The food was phenomenal and the portions were great.
The servers and staff were on top of everything and our table was always clear.
EXTRA BONUS LOVE for our server Jessica, who chased after us out the door after I forgot my leftovers on the table. She’s the best.

A former favorite, now on our never again list. I came with a group yesterday to celebrate my aunts birthday after hearing how good the drinks are here from her. We gathered at the bar and waited for seats to come available, which was quick, but the bartender (curly hair, awful bangs) was extra irritated about that. She gave us attitude when we asked her to move her coat and purse which on a nearby high top.
We tried to stay out the way as there were many of us but she purposely hit my uncle twice with a tray when she was going in and out. She scowled at him that she needs the space. She took forever to attend to us and gave dirty looks to half my party. She also messed up the entire bill by only having one when everyone ordered separately. She took payments incorrectly and was extremely rude about it. When we left upset, she called back two of our people and said they didn’t pay for something which they already gave her money for it previously.
My aunt came here because of this shrew and she acted like she never met her and didn’t care. We are very respectful, kind people who love supporting our favorite spots. We weren’t even rowdy either. We still had more coming but our entire group left for Silver Iguana instead who gave us impeccable service. Tavos lost a group of 15 people because of one unprofessional bartender.

We were celebrating the purchase of our new home and this turned out to be the perfect place to do it. Fantastic atmosphere. Tasty inventive margaritas. Wonderful flavorful fresh cuisine. None of that drenched in melted cheese generic stuff. Simply the best. Do not hesitate to check them out. Literally the most wonderful Mexican food I’ve ever had.

My rating of Food, Service and Atmosphere is not correct but no way to rate the reservation system. Was there a month or so ago – 5 stars on food, service, atmosphere. As a group we agreed to go there – I was tasked with making reservations. Can’t do by phone and on-line is like a throwback. You put in date/time and have no idea how long before you get acknowledgement so the group is waiting. When I did get acknowledgement there was no way to change, cancel, add more people. However good things are tomorrow night we won’t come back unless reservation system improves.
