Tavolàta in Fremont is solid. Great atmosphere, lively but not crazy, and a good spot to grab dinner and hang out with friends and family.

I had the pappardelle with meat sauce and it was rich and hearty with perfectly cooked noodles and a generous hit of parmesan on top. Good food done right.

Service was friendly, everything came out smoothly, and the whole place has that neighborhood feel. A go-to spot for Italian in Seattle.

My partner and I came here for our anniversary. When I made the reservation, it asks for the occasion (anniversary) and dietary requirements, including an option to select no alcohol, which I did. I was really happy to see that as an option, but immediately disappointed when we were seated and none of the servers had apparently been told, so they all kept telling us about the alcohol options. Then later another waiter came by to ask if it was my birthday? I have no idea why they would say that when there was nothing to indicate such a thing, let alone the fact that we’d already told them it was an anniversary. It’s not a big deal, but just makes the service feel a bit hit and miss.
The real reason for the lower rating though is for the food 🙁 the focaccia was fine, nothing special, but the rest of the dishes were average at best. The meatballs were kind of bland and luke warm, the two pastas felt like something you’d get from one of those chain pasta places (which apparently a lot of people also like*), and the chicken breast in one of them was bland and overly grilled.
Luckily we were there at the happy hour time, so most of the dishes were cheaper – I definitely would have felt worse if I’d paid any more for any of these.
They also include the tip/surcharge automatically with the bill which I didn’t know prior.
* We just moved to Seattle and have been finding most of the food quite sub par, especially for their prices or their Google rating, but other people here seem to feel differently

Brought my first date to Tavalota Fremont and somehow the universe sent us Jimmy. The man’s a legend. He didn’t just take care of us, he curated the whole experience. Everything was perfect, from the vibe to the food, and then he pulls out his “Jimmy special” salted caramel gelato with chocolate syrup. At that point I was ready to propose. Easily one of those moments you’ll remember and smile about later. Thanks Jimmy for setting the bar way too high for every future date.

Phenomenal meal and experience. Pastas ordered are the rigatoni, carbonara, pappardelle, and casarecce. Caesar and Tavolata salads are amazing as well.

Went to Tavolàta Stone Way and had a great experience. Michael and Ray were both fantastic and took great care of us the whole time. The kitchen was a little slow at times, but the service was still great and they were very attentive and friendly. Between two people, two drinks, a meal, and dessert we definitely spent a good amount, but it felt worth it for the quality and service. Overall a really good meal and I would definitely come back.

Tavolàta has a happy hour menu with drinks, pastas, and salads. I highly recommend going during the happy hour as most things, especially the pastas, are extremely overpriced but somewhat reasonable during happy hour.

Overall the food always tastes great when I come here. Please note that they don’t ask for tips but they will automatically charge you 20%!

The claim to fame here is that they have House made fresh pasta. If you’ve never had fresh pasta, be aware that it is different than the dried stuff you buy in the store. It’s more rustic, hardier, overall more present in the dish. Just be ready for the difference so you’re not surprised. The cocktail menu is creative and the drinks are pretty. Service was attentive and friendly.

I love Ethan Stowell restaurants! I especially love this Tavolata location, not only because it’s the closest to me, but because they’re always so nice and the food is consistently delicious. This is the kind of place I don’t mind paying the automatic 20% gratuity. They deserve it and not all places do. Our last server was super friendly; but in a natural and genuine way. He was the perfect amount of attentiveness! And that seems to be the case every time we’re here.

This place has a warm and welcoming ambience. There are high ceilings, feels spacious, intimate, yet casual and family friendly. They’ve got a great HH menu with pretty good portioned pastas! As well as a big plate of kid’s pasta!!

Pastas are always cooked perfectly. Great salads and apps. Just good vibes all around!!

I’ve been coming here quite often for several years. The service, 10/10 food and comfortable vibes make it a great place for catching up with friends, work outings and date nights. Whether being put on to creative cocktails, good conversation and knowledgable recs by Avel, Michael and Ray while seated at the bar, or Chef Justin and Jimmy stopping by mid-rush to check in on our experience, the crew there go above and beyond to ensure you’re taken care of. Here’s a pic of my favorite, full-flavored pesto pasta with ricotta that I upgraded with perfectly-cooked/tender chicken meatballs. Highly recommend their extensive HH menu — Won’t leave you disappointed.
