Tavola was recommended to me while staying overnight in Mexicali. From the moment I walked in to the very moment I left the experience was perfect. I was seated at the perfect table on the patio and after receiving bread and butter, was greeted almost immediately by my server Gerado. He suggested a wonderful white wine and walked me through a few items on the menu. I was unfamiliar with the Carpaccio Di Polpo but he was right – I loved it. The Petto Alla Parmigian was one of the best I’ve ever had, seriously, and the portion was way more than I could eat. There was also a lovely blonde server who assisted me with learning how to say “esta muy bien”. I don’t even know if I spelled that right, but thanks to her, now I can say it! Would love to give the staff 10 stars if I could. I loved my entire night at Tavola and will go back the next time I’m in the area.

the spread that they give you for the bread is to DIE FOR. I have no idea what it is but the garlic taste is so amazing. you can definitely taste the freshness in every plate. I dont recall the plate I had but it was delicious. the servings are pretty good. I spent 50 USD for my caesar, pasta and drink.

Food: Each dish is crafted with care. I’ve tried around 20 different dishes, and all of them maintain a high quality.
Drink: I’ve sampled various drinks including wine, beer, soft drinks, Cognac, and cocktails, but personally, the sangria stands out as the most delicious.
Atmosphere: The restaurant exudes a romantic atmosphere with indoor lighting and an outdoor terrace. It’s common to see many couples, birthday parties, and family gatherings here.
Service: The staff are extremely friendly and efficient in their actions. They always greet you with a smile, making the dining experience very enjoyable.”

This placed is awesome. We had pasta Alfredo and the sauce was spectacular. The chicken was not dry and the pasta was al dente and homemade which is a five stars. The pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients and good cheese. The drinks were also a hit. Anything we ordered was great. Coming back definitely for the pasta again and to try something else. Service was great.
