We hear they have an amazing happy hour…we were not there at that time, but after experiencing the menu and seeing the ‘deals to be had,’ we are confident this is a true statement. Also, the breadth of this menu could not be had in one visit…this will take time, as so many items sound like dishes we would love to try. We came for lunch, dinner is now in order

We started with the calamari, tuna wontons, and the seasonal mushroom pate board. Super simple…it all was great. The calamari was light and crisp, with the welcomed bites of fried banana peppers. The ahi tuna wontons were large and loaded. For a dish that can many times be underwhelming or skimpy, this was refreshing. The seasonal mushroom pate board had both depth of flavor and an appropriate accouterment variety for sure. The only comment is that it could have used more salt or herb base in the mix.

We had the fish and chips, the crab cakes, and the crispy chicken sandwich. The fish and chips need to be in the running for the best in the Midwest. Substantial Walleye filets are in a batter that I cannot call either light or heavy. It is ideal…it is airy, yet provides structure. It did not get soggy, but it was not rigged. They nailed it. The chicken sandwich was larger than expected and was ridiculously good. The brioche bun held up to the dressings and the perfectly crisp and juicy chicken breast. The crab cakes were just enough…not too thick, excellent mix, and cooked just right. The sauce did not overpower them and they could be eaten in one sitting.

This is a great place for lunch, dinner, or an early supper. We will have to give the happy hour a try sometime, presuming they will have available space.

This restaurant is amazing. It would take many, many visits to exhaust the stimulating menu options. Our party of seven ordered different entrees; each of them was delicious and beautifully presented. The chefs are impressive. And our waitress was excellent. The prices are quite reasonable for the fine quality.

We had a nice Mother’s Day dinner and we’re able to get in fast to eat at the bar area. The food and the ambiance was very warm and Grace, our server took great care of us. I had the ribeye and the wife at the Short Rib Ravioli. Pretty good! Definitely loved the appetizers as well of Calamari and Croquettes. Very crispy!

We had a great dinner here. The lobster mac and cheese was delicious. My husband thought the Reuben was average. We did have a great experience here, but it was nothing special.

My tuna asian salad was just ok. Nothing special on it. So is the rest of the salad that we ordered. I would definitely not going to get the tuna asian salad again when I’m back 🙂 but the appetizer we got was delicious!

Great food, good service, and nice atmosphere. The atmosphere is a delicate balance between a casual pub feel and a nice steakhouse. The front side has high-tops and bar seating, and the back has booths and tables.

The prices are very reasonable and are in my experience a good value for the quality.

This is one of the few places I’ve ordered a steak rare, and it came out actually as ordered.

The wedge salad is excellent. The pork chop is decent but not my favorite. The burger is good. Sweet potato fries are very good.

Great place for a date, a business lunch, or a family dinner.

Loaded pulled pork sweet potato fries appetizer was amazing. My Buffalo chicken wrap was ok, not great – chicken was very bready. My wife loved her salmon. Very friendly service and easy-going atmosphere.

Went in for an early Thanksgiving dinner with family so it was to be a special occasion. Ordered nachos for the appetizer to start which aren’t really nachos, they are four individual mini tostadas. Ok, whatever. Then ordered calamari app, which was half actually one third calamari, one third fried banana peppers and then 1/3 weird salad.

One guest ordered like a Philly steak sandwich and asked for the sauce on the side, which they forgot to do. It came out with the sauce on the sandwich.

I ordered the crab cake BLT. It was ok, but kinda soggy and all one texture. Couldn’t tell the crab cake from the bread. I substituted my fries out for some asparagus for a $1.75 upcharge and they literally put three twigs of asparagus on my plate. What?! Like my plate looked so empty when it came out. Just the sandwich and three little pieces of asparagus where a whole bunch of fries would normally be. Oh, and the bacon on my BLT was so hard, I thought I might chip a tooth!

Lastly, the server checked back with us so many times interrupting conversations, that we all felt it was a bit much. Anyway, not a top notch restaurant worthy of a special occasion or the pricing on the menu.

The owener flashes bright lights on a large flash attachment in your eyes while you’re eating! Never have I ever seen this, we came into a softly lit pub atmosphere fir a quiet dinner. I feel accosted by this intrusion, now I have a headache, I dont mind paying the high prices here if I can enjoy a quiet dinner. The lights are turned down, you can barely read the menu, so why is the owner flashing bright lights in your eyes. She could take photos when people are not in the restaurant. The food is about the quality of a coffee shop

For what I expected to be a 5 star restaurant, I was not impressed. The flavors were just not there. The calamari was chewy. All of the food lacked seasoning and flavor. The grits with my salmon dish were creamy bit unseasonably and the flavors of the corn salsa did not marry the ingredients together well at all. The mushroom beef risotto dish was the best dish we had. I was not impressed with the tuna wontons. I did not love the cherry cobbler dish either. It was too Tarr. My daughter liked her lobster dish despite the lobster being overcooked. I am in no rush to return.
