I went her with my sisters tonight.Food was great, menu was well thought of, portions were good. I have 0 complaints or negative anything. Salad was great and the steak was cooked perfectly 10/10 our server was delightful I forgot her name , petite blonde, great hospitality. I’m a chef I can’t say how pleased I was .

A Celebration to Remember!
Came here with my wife to celebrate a huge win in our lives—and wow, this place made it even more special. We were seated right away by the friendliest staff, and the service stayed just as great the whole time.
I kicked things off with an Old Fashioned (I forget the exact name but it had something banana going on—unexpectedly amazing), while my wife had a refreshing mocktail that she loved. We shared a bowl of parmesan fries as an appetizer and honestly had to slow down to make sure we still had room for dinner.
Then came the star of the show: I ordered the steak tips dinner, and I swear, the mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Creamy, buttery, and just perfect. The steak tips? Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the baked rigatoni and was just as impressed—rich, cheesy, and totally satisfying.
This place nailed it from start to finish. Great vibes, incredible food, and the kind of meal that sticks with you. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped in after our grandson’s soccer game. We were greeted very quickly and escorted to our table. I chose the Brunch Bowl and my wife went with the Quinoa Bowl. Both were packed full of fresh and tasty ingredients. Sasha did a great job of providing top notch service throughout our dining time there. The restaurant is clean and the staff works hard to give you an enjoyable dining experience. Back again and watched the staff get slammed by several teams coming in for lunch. I went with the Mesquite Chicken Bowl and found it packed with flavor. Natalie did a great job providing great service from start to finish.

Food was very good and the portions were gigantic! Also, the server was very hospitable with great people skills as well. However, the hostess definitely had an attitude problem!? We simply wanted to sit in one of the open, lighted booths, and there were some available ones but she kept trying to put us in dark corners of the restaurant and tried to make some excuse about it!? She finally let us sit in one of the well lighted booths after we kept pointing out that there were other parties of two in 4 and 6 seat booths. Of course she was kinda rude about that as well, not sure what her issue/problem was!? Otherwise, I would have given this place a five star rating!

5 Brunch at Tits! Yasss! Excellent Bloody Mary made by the very sweet and attentive bartender. A little kick, but oh so tasty! I enjoyed the Tavern breakfast, 3 eggs, 3 fat and delicious sausages and the very best “crispy” home fries… to die for! Awesome ambience and great transformation of space! I’ll definitely be returning for dinner.

Stopped in for lunch. Greeted by the hostess who sat up right away. Huge bar. Open tavern style decor. Well lit. Spacious, clean, nicely decorated. Comfortable booths and seating with ample access viewing to the many television screens over the bar that’s located in the center of the restaurant. Nice date night spot or group to hang , get some grub, drinks and watch a game or two. Good extensive menu. Mari, our waitress was excellent, polite, courteous, professional, helpful and attentive. Helped us to make some great selections from the menu. We ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts for an app. Korean crispy chicken sandwich with Crunchy tater tots and Steak and avocado salad. All were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The chicken breast in the Korean chicken sandwich was huge, perfectly battered, tender and tasty with the Korean sauce that was Sweet tangy slightly spiced sauce. So good! The Steak on the avocado salad was excellent. Rare as requested with nice ripe avocado and jalapeño ranch was perfectly spiced. Awesome! Highly recommend! Definitely returning to try the other items on the menu.

My wife and I stopped there on Monday, January 19, 2026. This was our 3rd, AND FINAL, time we will set foot in this, and all the other, Taverns In The Square. We believe in giving a restaurant 3 chances. First time was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had sitting at a bar. The service was sub-par at best. The food was so-so. The second time the service was slightly better, maybe 1/2 a star, and the food was still so-so. This third and final time was the straw that broke the back. The service was BELOW sub-par. It was like the bartender was doing her best to ignore us. Never mind the other two bartenders that also ignored us. Hard to eat food without utensils and plates. We sat for 20 minutes and finally asked a bartender for a manger. This interaction was the only part of the experience that was decent. She was apologetic and friendly. We paid for the the wine we had and the manager took off the appetizer that we never ate. I feel the whole bill should have been covered but we did drink some wine. I hope management/ownership has a serious talk with the servers/bartenders at this restaurant. It’s a great location and the decor is quite nice. We ended up at Sorrell’s on Rte 18 in Abington and it is where we should have gone to in the first place. Those servers/bartenders know how to treat paying customers.

Came here after an afternoon of shopping so we decided to have a late lunch. I’m glad we did! The food was delicious, well seasoned, beautifully plated and fabulous customer service. All the bartenders were friendly and outgoing, checked on us often. Couple of things:
1. Great place to watch any sporting events, televisions are everywhere.!
2. Plenty of parking.
3. The bar area is a great size.
4. Staff is awesome
5. Food is delicious
6. Great place to go anytime.
7. Handicap parking and table are available.
Looking forward on going back!

Very disappointed in the food quality— just isn’t up to par, especially with the prices. I can make much better food at home and I hardly even like my own cooking. If I’m going out to eat at a restaurant that isn’t fast food, I expect to be served high quality ingredients and a high quality meal. Tavern in the squares food wasn’t even mediocre, it was just bad, soggy, and the flavors were awful. Will not be returning.
