I have been here twice since they reopened on Monday, and can confidently say that their food is top notch. During my previous rendezvous, I got their amazing duck wontons. Perfectly crispy and with a touch of spice, these wontons are a brilliant play of fusion food. But that’s not what I’m here to talk about tonight.
First and foremost: The service here is just a cut above the rest. The hostess was pleasant upon greeting me, and set me up at a nice high top in the corner. My server, Grayson, was very helpful and kind. He got my food to me in a timely manner and was very attentive to what I needed. Everyone who works here seems happy to be here. I never needed anything.
Second, the food. I started off with the Garlic Cheese Naan, and it was perfect. From the very first bite, it was a perfect balance between the strong taste of garlic and the more delicate flavors of Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese. Following that was a hard task for the fish & chips, which was good. Crispy, tender, and flavorful. However, for me, the true star of the show is the Pistachio Almond cake I had at the very end. It was amazingly nutty, with a depth of flavor I didn’t quite expect. The cake was perfectly moist, and the pistachio cream was light and airy. It was also very pretty.
Food is the finest symphony between touch, taste, smell, and sight. I left the Tavern feeling like I just sat in for Beethoven’s Symphony No.5.

I had the smoked turkey wrap was Along with a side of fresh vegetables that were delicious! The service was on point! Looking forward to trying their Indian dinner menu! I really enjoyed this restaurant! They have a multitude of different meal types from burgers to salads to traditional tandoori. We also came during happy hour which is always a pleasant surprise. The Sriracha cheese curds were amazing. I got a Cobb salad because I’m always craving a Cobb! My date got the Chicken Malai Tandoori with mango chutney recommended by our waiter and it was fantastic!!

We got there right at noon on a Friday and were the first ones in the door. I believe the place was recently reopened after a change in ownership and remodel. They advertise Indian food, but don’t tell you they don’t serve Indian food until 3 pm. Anyway, our rueben sandwiches were excellent, and prices are typical for the area.

Let me tell you…this place is fantastic! I love Indian food and wanted that for my birthday dinner, but the rest of my party really didnt want that…this place was the perfect combination! Lots of tasty choices for everyone! I had the shrimp tikka masala (with a little heat) w/ basmati rice and butter naan…it was so so good! The others had these HUGE delicious burgers, very tasty fries, really good onion rings, and a rather large tandoori chicken sandwich and a fresh, tasty side salad. Our waitress Lexi was so helpful and did a great job…the guy (I hate I didn’t get his name) that made our food actually came out and answered my questions to make sure my masala was perfect! This place is on my list of musts for the next time I’m in the area! Highly recommend!
