Was driving by and pulled in for a quick bite to eat heading to the job site. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the chicken tenders and they where amazing super juicy, perfect amount of breading on them and was fried to perfection.

The BEST COUNTRY STYLE BREAKFAST! Tatsis have been around for a very long time. They make the PERFECT GRITS… I’ve literally never had a bad batch of grits here and the meals are hefty in portions. Is the inside of the restaurant a little dated, yes it is. However, their food and customer service excels what you see on the inside. I will continue to support this family-owned, small business.

I visited here for the first time on Monday for breakfast. I had the Fish (Flounder) & Grits with Toast, and Ms. Terri was the Waitress. I’m back this morning, and Ms. Terri is here! My breakfast and the service (Ms. Terri) was/is AMAZING! Ms. Terri set the bar very high; she provides exceptional service and gets around to every customer… EVERY customer! She’s the best, and again the Fish and Grits is amazing! AND… the Arnold Palmer Tea was mixed just right! The atmosphere in here today is like being at a family reunion… you can feel the love from the customers that regularly visit and enjoy good food! Thank you, Ms. Terri!

I am so disappointed at how the food has changed. There was a lady that worked there 4 years ago. She was very spicy and funny, miss her. I ordered steak onions and gravy, but the steak was tough. It came with yams that seemed to come from a can, no seasoning (no brown sugar butter NOTHING). I had them exchange it for tenders, which really wasn’t good.

We are in 2026! The Cashier makes toast without gloves! She handles money wipes Her hands on towel that she uses to wipe down the counter. I like this place, but I need to see hand washing and food handlers using clean and new gloves! Germs can make people sick that’s not to much to ask for.

I came in to place a to go order for a breakfast plate and an order of cold chicken salad no bread and the chef came from the back to hastily tell me that they dont sell it without the bread and cant do that! Neither by the scoop or pound only as a sandwich and for me to go to another place that will do that for me. I was honestly shocked so I just said ok ill take breakfast plate only. But I won’t be back here. The orders ladies on the register were very nice
