We ordered a Pizza and a CALZATOS.
Before a Fire there a while back, as enjoyed their Foods. THAT WAS THEN.
This past week end, We ordered a PIZZA & A CALZATOS. The Pizza was overcooked, but Chris said that He was starved, so He would eat it. I ordered the CALZATOS…but it was burned beyond recognition. I called the Store to report it, and they offered to make another one or give a store credit. I was Hungry, and it was getting late. So, I asked for another one to be made. When it got here, it was ALSO BURNED.
I did NOT want burned food, but neither did I want a store Credit. So….I placed the CALZATOS in the trash. I simply can NOT believe that the quality of the Food was SO DIMINISHED.
The total amount of the order exceeded $35.00, and as far as I’m concerned, from now on We’ll go to CASSANO’S or the STAUNTON COUNTRY STORE…Donato’s does NOT deserve a THIRD TRY!!!!!

It definitely needs known that this location is absolute trash. I tried to order a pizza tonight and went to pick it up in the drive-through. I wasn’t acknowledged when I got there. I had to wait five minutes just for somebody to tell me to keep waiting, after 15 minutes They asked my name the woman clearly was on some kind of substance or something. Every time I said my name she could only say it back in vowels. She asked me my order this continued probably 5 or 6 times. After 20 minutes and no acknowledgment of anything I just left. There’s nothing else to do. They have no idea how to even make a pizza at this place. It’s pathetic nor do they know how to read or speak English honestly, that person had to be high, if they weren’t they really shouldn’t be around hot ovens. Not only did I not get any food they made me late coming back from my lunch break.

We usually have pizza at this location every other month. It was our favorite. But last time which was 7/3 the pizza was not near as good. It tasted like a new sauce is being used. We did not like.

It is a nice little location directly across from the library and just a few blocks from the center of downtown Troy. The food was very good and the service quick and courteous. Perhaps the location could have been a little more tidy, but, it wasn’t too bad at all. Will definitely pay them a visit again in the future.

Tonight while picking up my pizza order, there must have been a bad situation with a customer in front of us. However the gentleman helping us at the window, was very helpful and kind- all while his other coworker is behind him screaming and yelling about the situation and the women involved with said incident. He never blinked an eye to pay her any attention and solely focused on me as a customer. He deserves to be acknowledged for his customer service and putting his customers before a bad situation.

I’m from Pennsylvania in Troy for Honda Auto Training. The pizza was amazing! Excellent staff and atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area, or those who live here who haven’t tried it!
