The best donuts I’ve ever eaten in my 43 years of life. I was a little girl when I first had the filled nut roll and it’s been 23 years since I’ve had it and it did not disappoint. It tasted just like I remembered. I would make a special trip just to have this donut. I would drive out of my way to have this donut. It is so fluffy and the cream filling is not your average cream filling. It’s amazing.! The peanut butter roll is really good too!

I live in junction City, about 32 miles from clay center, i tried the tasty pastry bakery in clay center and boy let me tell u, when u walk in, it looks like an old time bakery, so cozy!!! Everything in it’s place, clean tables friendly staff that treats u like family, always welcomes any questions u have just amazing service, always smiling, makes u feel very welcomed, it smells so good the moment u walk threw the door, fresh coffee fresh donuts and pastries, all are delicious but my favorite favorite is the red velvet with cream cheese I asked if I can pre-order them and yes the gladly took my order, overall I would give it more stars if I was able, I found my new pastry bakery, and definitely will be driving 32 miles one way for their pastries, I hope they never close down, just love that place, it’s definitely worth the drive , I highly recommend this place definitely WILL be returning, they definitely got my business

I recently had breakfast at Tasty Pastry Bakery and was thoroughly impressed. The bakery offers a fantastic selection of items, including cookies, rolls, and pastries. We tried the Buttermilk donuts, and they were absolutely delicious. The breakfast menu also features a variety of options like croissant sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and biscuits and gravy. The dining room is spacious and exudes a charming small-town feel. I’m looking forward to revisiting soon to try their lunch offerings!
