Very clean environment, spacious, good amount of tables to sit at and a lot of options. I asked for their most flavorful sandwich and I was recommended one. I chose the bread and it was okay. Overrall very mild when it comes to being flavorful or exciting. Most of the menu was AI pictures which doesn’t bother me personally. Unique selection of chips which I liked. The service was nice and friendly, I met a few customers who said they come there weekly. I’d like to try again in the future. You can build your own sandwich and choose if you want it toasted or cold which I liked. Overrall was relatively mid. The prep time was reasonable and the price was around 13.99 for a sandwich and a side of chips. Parking was reasonable. 4 stars

When I will go to a supermarket nearby to buy some groceries, I was hungry and saw the Tasty Deli, they had a lot of meals to choose from. I decided to try the “Build Your Own Sandwich,” and it was really good. Next time, I’d love to try something else from their menu. There are plenty of tables and seats in the area, and the bathroom is spacious. If there’s a long line, I usually just grab what I need from Vons and come back when the meal is ready. The staff are friendly, I forgot her name, but she was easy to talk to. Definitely worth trying!

Fitting name as the two sandwiches we tried on our 1st visit were both indeed tasty!
We stopped by for lunch on New Years Eve, and it wasn’t too busy as there were plenty of seats for all of us that were there.
Their menu has many options, including soups and even just Boar’s head meat if ya want. My fiancee ordered a meatball sub and she enjoyed it and would order again. I wasn’t sure what to get, but i asked the worker and he recommended the #30, which was the Chipolte Gouda and it was delicious. I will definitely order again.
There are some great sandwiches shops in Santee, but i recommend putting this one in the rotation as i will. Price is decent, food is great and it’s in a convenient location.

While the soup and sandwich were tasty, unfortunately the clam chowder arrived cold. But, the service was delightful, the menu comprehensive, and solid prices overall. We all have one off days, so I’m sure next time I’m there, the experience will be 5/5!
