TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

5 Stars! From customer service when we entered the restaurant to when we received our food fresh and hot. Kale slaw was delicious on the sliders. They offer honey, ketchup, and extra sauce at no cost. We had a group, so we each ordered a different heat level. We tasted mild, medium, hot, and exta hot. All very delicious, moist, and fresh. Our fries were cooked to perfection as they were hot and crispy. The employees were helpful and down to earth. Honestly, just good vibes across the board. We will definitely be back.

Although our Temecula location just opened, I was in Menifee so we decided to try it for the first time. It was an “okay I tried it, and now I am good” kind of place. I don’t see myself coming back to eat here again. The chicken had way too much seasoning for me. It was too overpowering on my palate. If the chicken wasn’t so overpowering on the seasoning, I think I would come back. I was disappointed!

Amazing chicken very tasty . Good Customer service friendly and inviting atmosphere. The dipping sauce is a star for me I love it!!! Try eating your chicken with the bread provided and the pickles with the sauce. If you’re not a hot spicy person I would recommend going with a light mild or no heat! The heat Index in the spice levels are outrageous!!! BE WARNED ⚠️ ⚠️

All I can say is wow! The food was absolutely great and seasoned too well. Staff is extremely friendly. I ordered the 2 slider combo with it being lite-mild. All I can say is when you order, know what spice level you’re ordering because each flavor will have its kick! I will definitely be back soon!

I popped in to grab a french fry snack, to go, extra crispy with Dave’s sauce. They treated me like a VIP…seriously. Anyway, I ate the fries while waiting on the patio for my ride. WOW! The BEST, BEST, TASTY, CRISPY FRIES I’VE HAD IN EONS – These fries beat all other fast food / restaurants by a LONGSHOT – I’ve been around for a while. I went back (took me 10 min to finish the serving for which I paid $3.50 – UNHEARD OF) and ordered a BOX of crispy FF to go for $10. Came home and ate a few more. I have enough FF to last me a couple of days. Folks, these are the best fries I’ve ever had…no kidding – a meal in themselves, too.

Cool vibes. I like the art on the walls. The two sliders are a good size, my wife and I shard the two sliders. They were plenty for the both of us. Mac n cheese were like any Mac n cheese, nothing special there. The chicken was juicy, the batter is very dense with spices. Personally I still think canes chicken tastes better. I know it’s not supposed to be healthy but you can really feel the grease pumping through your arteries after. 15$ for the two sliders with fries. Good price to share but definitely over priced for one person.

I come here almost everyday when I stay at the hotel across the street for work. The food is awesome! I like to get the kale slaw instead of fries to make the meal a little healthier. Shane, who works the register most days, is always so happy and greats everyone so enthusiastically. The atmosphere is bright and cheery with great rock music! Love this place!

The chicken sliders and fries were very good until my husband wondered if they put MSG, . The sliders were good size, not mini size, and they put kale slaw inside, unlike other chicken sandwiches. The chicken was very juicy, crispy, and you can choose the level of spiciness. We ordered mild and medium which were just right for us. The cashier was patient and helpful since this was the first time I ordered at Dave’s. Surprisingly, they opened until 11pm on weekdays.

This location is clean, friendly and new. The parking lot is a bit tight. Tenders and sliders are the main entre items. The slider is a mini sandwich served with coleslaw and the tender is a chicken strip served on a piece of bred. The menu offers a variety of different spiciness options going from none to Reaper strength. Medium spice is quite adequate for significant spiciness and you should start at mild or lower, if you are averse. But why would one go to Daves Hot Chicken and not get Hot? You can order these and other items, a la carte items, like mac n’ cheese, fries and slaw. The tenders reveal a bit more of the spices and ingredients that go into them. The slider is also great. $14 gets you one of each, pickles, fries and sauce. No drink included.
