I live right around the corner and hadn’t been to Tippy’s in a while so decided to stop in. I was unaware that they had changed their name and were now offering many more items. I got the Friday special and wasn’t let down. It’s a great deal for the price and is delicious too. I look forward to going back and trying some of their new menu items. They also offer halal food and the desserts are delicious.

This used to be Tippy’s Taco House. I never ate there but am happy to see this chicken and rice place replace it. They will still serve tacos and burritos and have weekly specials. Today they are doing an opening special and I tried the lamb and rice and had two beef tacos. I would definitely go back for the lamb and rice. The lettuce was really fresh. The sauces are really good; one is hot sauce and one is a white sauce. The owner and staff are super nice. They had a DJ there tonight.
The decor is still what I imagine was what has been there since Tippy’s opened and is kind of a fun retro throwback.

Different owner, but they have the old website with the old prices. They had 4 tacos for 7.30 on the website and i did a order over the phone. When went to pick it up … It was freaking 15 bucks for them. These are not worth that price, but for 7.30… its a good deal. They just taste like homemade tacos with ground meat. But whatever… I wont be fooled again. Last time going

I’ve passed this place many times before on the road but finally decided to try it out. Friendly staff with a cozy atmosphere. Clean and welcoming environment. Never had authentic food like this before but was delighted with the wrap I ordered. Fresh and savory! Absolutely delicious! Will be coming back again.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my dad and had such a lovely experience. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately made us feel at home. He even offered guests a warm soup on the house, and it was absolutely delicious—comforting and full of flavor. Little gestures like that truly set this place apart. You can tell there’s a lot of heart behind this restaurant, and we’ll definitely be back.

when you first walk in, this place almost takes you back to the 80’s! it’s incredibly retro looking on the inside – not much has changed from when they first opened it seems. they have daily specials that do not change every week – consistently the same for each weekday. now on the weekends, their special is an incredible deal especially for the area. for $10.50, you get two tacos, two chicken enchiladas, rice & beans, two tostadas + one fountain drink. this place is truly one of the last hole in the wall restaurants you’ll find in this area. hidden gem for sure!
