Cheeseburger: The freshly grilled patty was piping hot, bursting with juices and aroma—the experience was beyond words… Of all the fast-food burgers I’ve had, this was higher quality and juicier than McDonald’s or Burger King, more fiery than Shake Shack, and more straightforward and simple than Five Guys. It didn’t have too many toppings or sauces, which highlights the flavor of the patty itself. The cheese and lettuce balance it out, preventing it from being overly greasy. The size was just right too —full and satisfying without being too filling. The wrapping paper with an elastic band was also a nice touch. The only downside was that the seasoning was a bit salty; it’s best to mention that when ordering.
Small French Fries: Freshly fried thick-cut fries—needless to describe more.
Lemonade Fountain Soda: It might be on the sour side for most palates, but it suited my taste perfectly, cutting through the greasiness of the dish.
Most importantly, this meal only cost $13+, which was incredibly good value…
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a satisfying meal without fuss. Honestly, whenever I’m in Boston, this is my go-to spot for a burger fix — I can’t recommend it enough.
I got the patty melt, which is very simple and felt like a good staring experience with Tasty Burger — burger, cheese, caramalized onions.
I was not a fan of the spicy ketchup (the pepper flavor was not my favorite) nor the French fry seasoning, which was sweet due to brown sugar being one of the surprising main ingredients. It was a unique concept but missed the mark for me.
This was my first experience and I am so curious if this was luck or the norm. These results must be verified.
I have not been here in many years, and their sunrise burger tastes better than I remember. Tasty Burger also tastes 100% better than Lotta Burgers down south/southwest.
A quick tip: If you want to try the spicy ketchup on your sandwich, they are in the sauce holders on every table. Instead of ordering it on your sandwich for an extra dollar, just use the bottle on the table!! Even if you’re taking your food to-go, there are sauce containers above the napkin dispenser.
