Upon first arriving and looking at the menu, the owner could tell it was our first time and quickly began to explain the menu and even give some recommendations. While waiting for our order, he continued to converse with us in a pleasant manner and was very open and friendly. Everything is made to order so the aroma of all the food cooking from scratch was delightful. He even gave us a sample of his broccoli (which was delicious) while we waited.

After returning to our Air BnB we quickly dug into the plentiful servings of food we had ordered. Everything was delicious! The fish was fried to perfection, the Mac N cheese was amazing and I’m a big critic about my Mac. The rice with gravy was really good as well as the vegetables. The Jerk chicken was as advertised, hot as hell, but so addictive. Don’t even get me started on the massive piece of cornbread that came with each meal!

I would absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait for the opportunity to go again!

Ordered via UberEats and the food came in a timely manner and the delivery driver was very nice. The food was OK, it got the job done. None of my food had a crunch to it because it wasn’t fried hard enough. My fries were a bit white for my liking (and too much pepper) and the shrimp was a little salty. I certainly will give this place another try however.

Every bite was AMAZING! I placed my order over-the-phone, went to pick it up and it was still being prepared which indicated to me that the food was being cooked-to-order. The fried wings were fresh, and tasted AMAZING! Turkey wings were AMAZING! Baked Mac & yams were amazing as well.. and to top it off.. peach cobbler and strawberry ice cream.. God could’ve taken me right then.. simply put, the peach cobbler was to die for. Definitely coming back

So I ordered 6 fried wings and a large mac and cheese. To start my bill was $17.95 including the 75 cent fee they charge you for using a credit or debit card. My wings were burnt like they stayed in the oil way too long. Then on top of that I must have been given the bottom of the pan portion of mac and cheese. It had no cheese in it and I got the burnt crisp that is usually left on the side of the pan that no one wants. I normally do post reviews but I think your cook and management should consider what they serve customers as we patronize your establishment so should you give us great quality food we pay for. Not sure when I’ll go back but I hope next time the food is better.

Mixed emotions about this place, the taste and presentation of the food is pretty good, but the overall dynamics and layout of this restaurant is poor. I felt like the limited kitchen space cause the food to be prepared at a much slower pace. I waited well over half and hour for my jerk chicken platter to be prepared. Others came in after me and received their platters first..so also did not enjoy going in here being well dressed and leaving out smelling like fried food.. a better ventilation system need to be put in place… The overall environment was however pleasant not hearing a bunch of trashy music or vulgar language. I may in the future give this place another try.

I arrived at 7:59 pm I was told by management there was an HOUR wait . I ordered 2 platters I gave them extra time while I casually waited out front (2 hours to be exact ) I go back inside and to my surprise they haven’t even put the turkey wings on and also they didn’t have none of my sides which they had when I first placed the order. When was someone gonna tell me this beats me . The lady had on gloves giving customers bread with no bag or anything … just handed it to them . NO ICE The employees were arguing …it’s very ghetto I do NOT recommend ..

This place seemed to be fine. They are very slow and very unorganized. I wouldn’t suggest them to my worst enemy. I ordered collard greens (a side dish) and after waiting on them for over 50 minutes I demanded a refund, which they couldn’t do because of some bullcrap. They had to send the money back later. I don’t trust this place and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They didn’t even offer anything for this terrible experience. Of course I’ll never return and I’d advise others to stay away as well. I there was a way to give negative stars I would.

Still trying to find a replacement for the closed restaurant “Just To Serve You Too” restaurant, so I gave this place a shot. The staff was very friendly. The food was “ok”. The mac and cheese was very good, but seemed to have been cooked awhile ago, so it wasn’t like fresh out the oven hot, but still good even being reheated. The chicken wings was less than to be desired. It’s weird because they were seasoned well but it seemed not to be floured/battered prior to being fried and cooked just to the threshold of being overcooked. So i’ll have to pass on the wings for my next visit and try the seafood. My wait time was about 45 minutes, which is about what I’d normally wait for at most soul food joints. However, I can see wait times stretch to well over an hour if it gets really busy, so don’t be surprised as I’ve read in some of the other comments.
So, I do recommend the location and will be a regular customer even though I still haven’t found a replacement for my favorite (now closed) spot.

Ordered from Uber eats and the food was good. The yams, collard greens, and the fried and bakes chicken are really good. The macaroni and the corn bread isn’t that good. They also missed three items on our order and didn’t seem to care when I called them to let them know.

This is the last time I am ordering from this restaurant. The food is delicious that is why I’ll give it 1 star yet I didn’t receive my food for 2 hours. The order was placed at 720pm and confirmed at 730pm yet I was told they just received the order at 910pm with a receipt that said the order was ready by 909pm. My food was barely hot and I paid for cornbread that was forgotten. The female who picked up was unhelpful and didn’t seem to care at all.
