I tried to go in for some ice cream and waited my turn to order like a decent human being, and they served the two people who came after me before me. They knew I was there patiently waiting and just deliberately overlooked me to serve people who are rude and cut in line. You are better off going to another town for ice cream.

They are a local establishment that has been around for a long time that is known for their soft serve ice cream and other good food it’s more like a pickup place because you can sit outside in a picnic table but there aren’t really places inside to sit. Still, the ice cream is superb and they always have lemon ice cream everyday, which is absolutely delicious and divine!! Stop in for a delightful tasty treat!

Stopped in on a busy Saturday for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork nachos and I heard the lemon soft serve was good so I went with a small dish. The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. The nachos were good but not quite the quality you would receive at a regular restaurant or upscale bar. The lemon soft serve lived up to it’s name, very good. Good place to go for a tastee (tasty) quick bite.

Idk where these reviews are coming from but every time I get food from here my fiancé always gets bad mouth by the cooks. The cooks must think we can hear but when they clearly say “they don’t need all this food anyway” or “they should go somewhere and eat” because we have specific things to make our eating experience better like adding toppings on the side thinking we want to be difficult. We paid 60$ for three small meals and two appetizer sides to get talked about disrespectfully. The cooks didn’t realize my fiancé was next to the wall when those comments came out their mouth and my fiancé glared at them both and they didn’t apologize or say nothing there was no eye contact and they kept quiet. Let’s just say we’ve supported this business 6 times and today was our last. We will drive to Quincy from now on. Unbelievable.

I love the food and the service and the staff are all great, not to mention the best lemon ice cream ever. Only thing bad to say which isn’t horrible is I did see prices go up quite a bit more than other places in the area due to the pandemic. I know everywhere raised prices but due to the seemingly larger price hike of the tastee treat we don’t frequent as often as we used to. Still love to make it in when in town though.

This is a fast food carry out. The sandwiches are very good as well as the shakes and malts. They also carry different flavors of ice cream. The sandwiches are hamburgers, tenderloins, etc., as well as sodas. The extra cost you pay for good food is worth it!

Lemon soft serve is the best ice cream! Its has a sweet vanilla taste with a hi t of lemon. I have been getting lemon ice cream cone from taste treat for over 15yrs! Love this place. Can’t go wrong with any of their ice cream choices.
