It’s absolutely nostalgic… At 46 years old, I can walk in here as I did as a young child while my uncle was working the kitchen and bar and still feel the same. As always, amazing people, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Maryland Crab Soup tastes as good as I remember it, and the fish tail was always a fav.

Great place great people too.
They know a lot about what’s going on around the place, bikers, to bike riding on trailer to tubing and kyaking and canoe’s.
Stop and check it out. Good food there and you feel at home like you know them.
It’s 50 plus year’s of history at Bill’s.

Bill’s Place is so worth the drive. The owners are very friendly and the locals are great. The food is a absolutely delicious. I had the homemade MD Crab Soup and fried bologna sandwich with Spicy mustard, it was on point. I’ll definitely be going back to try a few other things. Thank you guys for a fun night out.

Loved this stop. Good food cold drinks. The pork chop sandwich and fried bologna sandwich will not disappoint. Plenty of parking. If your in an RV avoid the tunnel.

Stopped in to get ice. As the sign says, if you don’t see it, ask; 7#, 3$. If I was drinking and needed a sandwich, I would have. Cool little country vibe. It’s a happening spot for sure right by the campground and river, C&O access. Good find!

Bills place is the only restaurant in Little Orleans MD. It is right off of the C&O canal, so it is a must stop. The food there is decent and prices are great. They were very welcoming even though we were covered in mud from head to toe. We had the ribeye and crab cake sandwich and both were good. The fries cauliflower were awesome and it is a must try.

Great food and convenience store close to the C&O and Western Maryland rail trail. No potable water, but they sell gallon jugs in the convenience store. Only take cash!

Historic place.
If you are “blue collar”, you are going to love this place.
No bull crap atmosphere.
Friendly for biker’s, canoers, hiker’s, cyclists, etc. and kid’s too if they are not picky.
Jack and his crew serve up some good grub, cold drinks, and Adult beverages of all sorts.
You can get ice and beer for your trip, rent canoes, and get a shuttle ride to your launch site. Around the corner is a state park campground with fire rings for cooking and bathroom facilities on site. Also a boat ramp and plenty of fishing spots.

Begrudgingly advertises to passers-by on the C&O, such as we were. However, isn’t actually welcoming to outsiders. The sign says it all. Disallows water fills and sells water bottles. A reminder that in 330 miles of crossing a wonderful land, disappointments are to be found. Stop, or not, accordingly.
