We ate dinner twice at the Tastee Tiki while in Newport. The bowls were delicious and the portions were generous. They also have fantastic beer and cider. We met the owner James during our second visit. We enjoyed discussing the surf, Oregon weather, and similar travels. The Tastee Tiki has great outdoor seating with music. I would definitely eat there again.

Great little spot right across from Agate Beach at Ossie’s Surf Shop! Really good kahlua pork bowl and I also got the hibiscus cooler, will be going back sometime and would recommend !

I stumbled on this Hawaiian food cart and had no idea what I’ve been missing! I’m a local and always on the lookout for local hidden spots! I was fortunate to catch this place before our weather closes them down for the season. The owner was really friendly and shared great stories. I enjoyed being outside on such a nice day. The food was delicious and I may have indulged a bit. The portion was more than enough for one person but I found myself clearing the bowl, it was that good. Overall, I would highly recommend!

This is a GREAT place to stop on 101. We ordered the tofu and chicken bowls and they were ready in 5 minutes, came out steaming fresh and DELICIOUS. The owner is super friendly, and we overall loved the experience!

Super fresh, made to order. We got the veganized teriyaki tofu bowl, surfer salad with tofu, tofu musubi, and hibiscus coolers. All so delicious!

The atmosphere here is awesome. There are live bands and open mics that make eating here such fun. All of the food is very flavorful and filling. Plus anything Kalua pork is bound to make your tastee buds melt. (Written by my kids.)

Tastee Tiki is a hidden secret behind the Ossies Surf Shop.
Hawaiian style food is very hard to come by on the mainland and the Oregon coast doesn’t have many options but if you are in Newport this is a good place to stop.
This dish had a nice twist by adding the onions and greens, it made it taste very fresh.
The Mac Salad was alright not much flavor in it.
Teriyaki chicken was good.
Portion size was alright, couldn’t have hurt to have more considering the price was a bit higher than other place I have had.
Overall this is a good food truck on the coast with a lot of seating.

I stopped by this food truck while on a road trip, and it ended up being one of my favorite finds. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which gave the whole place a great vibe. What really makes it stand out, though, is the stage and open mic. It’s such a fun idea to combine great food with live music, and it created a really unique, community feel. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
