We loved our Taste experience for our date night! Greeted with a splash of bubbly, followed by amazing food, wine, and service by our bartender, Jonathan. The bruschetta had perfect soft sourdough and a fantastic selection of toppings. For the main course, we shared one of the specials (short ribs), and it was very tasty. Of course, the wine was great and paired well with our meal. We will definitely be back to try other wines and food!

My husband used to work for a boutique wine distributor in DC and worked with many high-end restaurants. He said Taste Wine Cafe’s wine list is truly exciting. We took my husband’s best friend (P) and his wife there for dinner. Combined, my husband and P have over 30 years of work experience in the wine industry. The three of them ordered several glasses of wine and enjoyed all of them.
For appetizers we shared the blistered peppers and the bruschetta board. We ordered a linguini chicken cacio e pepe, beef dip sandwich, spicy spaghetti pomodoro with shrimp, and grilled lamb burger. All of the plates were licked clean except my beef dip sandwich because the portion size was extra generous. (I finished the rest of the sandwich after I got home).
Our friends live about half an hour away from Taste but said they’d definitely take out-of-town friends and family there. If you enjoy trying new wines that you can’t find anywhere else, you need to checkout Taste.

This was our first time trying Taste on the recommendation of some friends. Everything was absolutely amazing! We went for brunch and ordered the Shaksuka, Spicy Prawns and Polenta and the Poutine. The Italian spin in the Shaksuka with a meatball, soft poached egg and crostini was delicious and a a great share plate. The Poutine had a ton of steak and the gravy was fantastic. My personal fav was the Prawns and Polenta which was super light and flavorful. My hubs and I I don’t drink but the mocktails were inventive and not just all sugar like most places have. We got the Blueberry Basil and the Pear, Cinnamon and Ginger and both were great.
All in all, the service, food and atmosphere was phenomenal and we felt like family just walking in the door. Can’t wait to go back!

My first visit to Taste, and it won’t be my last! I went for their brunch and it hit the spot! I look forward to coming back for dinner with a group of friends so I can try all the food and wine! Maybe not all… but good to have Goals! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

Last night we had one of the best and very refreshing dining experiences in a long while. Customer service across the board and in restaurants has just become less than in my opinion, no matter what category of restaurant you are giving your business to. We had reservations, we ran in with 45 minutes before a commitment to eat and have a cocktail and “Jo” was our server. She was pleasant, so very prompt in responding and checking on us and she got us in and out of there with time to spare with such an amazing attitude. We tipped as if we had been able to be leisurely cause we will come back when we can and we will request her every time. The food was amazing, the tiny steak bites and meatball were our favorite. Well done Taste and be proud of Jo and Jo thank you for having a work ethic and pride in what you do…

The best dining experience in West Linn, and it’s not even close.
I was visiting my family for the Holidays and my Dad told me I had to try Taste before going back home. As a Las Vegas resident and a big foodie, I’ve had tons of memorable and incredible meals out on the strip.
Taste was one of the best meals I’ve had in a LONG time. They could stand toe-to-toe and win against many of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas. I was blown away by the excellent service, delicious food, and intimate ambiance.

Taste is a refreshing new top quality option for dining in West Linn! The wine list is diverse and impressive, the service is amazingly attentive and friendly (our server Nick never left us waiting for the next glass), the atmosphere is modern and comfy, and the food is excellent. We started with the bruschetta sampler, which was delish and bigger than imagined. The mushroom goat cheese polenta, crab ravioli and chicken linguini were all fabulous. Happy hour glasses of wine are a steal at $8. Taste checks all the boxes for a top notch dining experience and we will no doubt be regulars.
