You have to experience Ramona. It’s something that truly changed the gastronomic scene in Springfield. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen this kind of Mexican fusion anywhere else — not even in Chicago.

This place is absolutely ! The el pastorcito is easily one of the best entrees in Springfield, every taco on the taco flight is great, and the empanadas are top notch. My only complaint is that they shouldn’t take reservations at 730 and then close their kitchen just after that (couldn’t get more tortillas for my lb of marinated pork…) and rush people out.

The food, drinks, atmosphere, service and prices are all great!
It can get a little loud at times so if you’re looking for a quiet meal, maybe skip it.
The quality of the food is top-notch for sure!
My wife and friends said the drinks were excellent.

I recently dined at Ramona Restaurant in Springfield, Illinois, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was nothing short of excellent, with attentive staff making the experience really pleasant. The prices were reasonable, which was a nice surprise. But the real highlight was the food: it was more than acceptable—it was delicious. Having traveled extensively through Mexico, I found their dishes to be a great substitute for the real deal south of the border. Highly recommend giving it a try

Absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the restaurant design was stunning, and the food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated. Biridiana was easily the best and most knowledgeable server I have had in years. Her recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed good conversation. She was patient, attentive, and kind. She was even gracious enough to educate me about her culture and The Day of the Dead. Looking forward to sharing this place with friends and family in the near future!

I was very impressed with the Trikis Tacos. I took my first bite and just felt an explosion of great flavor. The meat was perfectly cooked and so tender. The tortillas were fresh and light.
The service was fantastic. The server was very friendly, knew the menu, offered suggestions and why he felt they were good. My glass was never empty, which i greatly appreciate. This is one place that you really should eat at.

Well, I have to say that it’s by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The atmosphere, smell, decor, service were all fantastic. The horchata was decadent and our meal was simple perfect. I really can not recommend this place enough. I can hardly wait to go back.

Great experience. Amazing vibes. We were able to get a seat at the bar without reservations at around 530 but would recommend making reservations for any time later than that as it filled up quickly. The food was delicious and well worth the price. The drinks were a step up from other places in town. (Try the Mezcal) I highly recommend coming here for a date night or a night out with friends, the perfect spot to start your night. One of our new favorite spots!
