I and my mom had the pleasure of enjoying our first visit here on 30 January 2026,,
I ordered the Jerk Salmon, Plantains, and Mac N Cheese..
And my mom ordered Oxtails..
And it tasted absolutely amazing and the food was definitely the right fit for the Jamaican style type of food that I was seeking.
The owner was also very friendly and she overall offered both I and my mom nothing but positive energy ever since we walked through the door…
We both wish her nothing but good luck in her future endeavors.
I and my mom will definitely be future visitors at this restaurant and I highly recommend this restaurant for those who seek a low key dining experience.

Definitely a hole in the wall but they have only been open for a few months. The food had me smacking, so it was good. I ordered the curry chicken, with rice, veggies, and Mac and cheese. I got to try the deserts next time.

My family and I ate here today for the soft opening. Omg!!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and true authentic Jamaican food. There was a variety of food to order from, the portions were very big and the prices affordable. They also offer vegetarian, and pescatarian meals. My family and I will be back.

We stopped to grab lunch on the drive back to Charlotte. The food was great, portion size was nice, it was made to order, but it was a quick wait. Customer service was 5 star, and they even offer a first timer discount. No restaurant in Charlotte offers this. The dining room was clean and roomy. Please protect this restaurant at all cost.

Me & my bf enjoyed the food it was really good & I’m the type of person that never complain how much my food cost long as the food matches the price i understand the prices has gone up for everything but I paid $66.00 for a regular Rasta pasta with 10 mini oxtails in the middle & the rest was all noodles, A large oxtail plate with very few oxtails.. this is not my first second or third rodeo eating Jamaican food.. I have been to serval ones & got more meat than that… the food doesn’t match the price

Despite its quiet location, the atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. As for the food – it was outstanding! I had the turkey wings, which were perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The rice and peas were seasoned just right, and the plantains were sweet and delicious. Others in my party tried the curry chicken, oxtails, and jerk chicken, and everyone was equally impressed with the taste. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Florence, SC, and highly recommend.

Presentation was great! Portions are big for the price and I caught the ‘happy hour’ deal on door dash for an even better price! The Mac and cheese was the highlight of my plate. Curry chicken was good but not as seasoned as I thought it would be. I’ll be ordering again.

Food here is cooked to order. I got curry shrimp and seasoned rice with cabbage. I also got the escovitch snapper fish with fried plantains. Both of these plates were out of this world. When I have my West Indies cravings this is my new spot to eat at.
