I don’t normally give 5 stars to anything but this place deserves it. I’ve been going there for years. Many of them at their previous location near Swedish Hospital. They grow many of their herbs themselves. Their food manages to be filling without being heavy. In the 20 plus years that I have been eating there, I have never had bad food or bad service. It’s probably partly because the owners are always there. The new location on South Broadway is an improvement on the previous small space they had.

I first tried this place a couple of decades ago when they were on Old Hampden across from Swediah Hospital in Englewood. The food is always spot on, and service is great! This last visit was my first time back since moving to Northern Colorado 5 years ago. I was in town for work and it was a Friday afternoon at about 2:15. When I walked in, I realized they closed at 2:30 and was going to leave because I wouldn’t be able to get it to go, but they said it’d be no problem. It was great to taste their panang again! There are some good Thai places in NoCo, but nothing quite as good as Taste of Thailand.

Wow. I was blown away by the choices on the menu, and the variety of flavors. Every dish we got was from their seasonal menu. As many others have stated, the flu shot soup is amazing. Perfect spice level, chock full of healthy veggies. Next we got the Thai sausage, which was handmade by them. Finally we got a Northern Thai seafood salad (I cannot hope to remember the name of the dish, it is in the “seafood specialty” section of the menu).

By far and away the best Thai restaurant in Denver, maybe the whole state or even time zone. The service is excellent and the food is simply perfect. It’s also family owned which makes it even more enjoyable to support.
