Taste of Thai on Blvd.

I grabbed takeout from Taste of Thai and brought it down to the beach and the food hit so well. The curry was rich, flavorful and still piping hot by the time I sat down. The portions are solid and everything tasted fresh. Service was quick and friendly too. It’s the kind of spot you keep coming back to because the food is consistent and actually has depth to it. Easily one of my favorite Thai options in Virginia Beach.

I was in search for some good Thai food right before Thanksgiving and this is my third time back already. The food has been very good and the Pad Thai is amazing! The women there are very nice and the service is less than 10mins each time I’ve been here. This will be my go to spot from here on out!

First visit and the Pad Thai satisfied my craving. Perfect heat and the portion was worth the price- did not anticipate a ton of shrimp, but pleasantly surprised! I ordered carry out, it was quick and delicious. Will definitely visit again as they actually have Larb on the menu! Thank you Taste of Thai!

Highly recommend this Thai restaurant coming from a frequent VA Beach visitor. Writing this review as I’m eating my food. Very fast service, cashier was very friendly. Hot and fresh food. Love the open kitchen setting. Tried almost all the appetizers we could get with the sauces which are all delicious. Loved their Thai green tea. Definitely check out this place if you want amazing Thai food.

We stopped here while traveling through Virginia Beach. We shared a Thai Green Tea, $12 combo ( white rice and chicken skewers, water, cucumber salad) and the crab puffs. The flavor of the chicken alone was amazing and juicy but it was elevated by the Peanut curry sauce provided on the side. Crab puffs (came with 3) were cooked perfectly and are on the savory side. It was my first time trying Thai Green Tea but the more I drink it is growing on me. Staff were very friendly and waited on us and took our trash when we were done. Overall great experience, it may end up being the best food we have on our trip!

The food is reasonably priced. I received prompt service and the atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful. Thai tea is sweet and yummy. I loved the spice level in the yellow curry. The curry puffs are so scrumptious. I do wish they came with a sauce though. I will definitely be coming back.

Best Thai food I’ve had in the 757 Hamptons area so far! This food will have you rocking side to side doing the “happy dance”.

I’ve tried the massaman curry and the panang curry. Both really good, but the panang is my favorite! And the potato curry puffs are a MUST! I dip them in my curry lol. Looking forward to trying some of the other dishes.

I order my food at a level 2 spice and extra veggies to substitute the protein options. Bring cash for cheaper price at register.

Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! Gluten-free options as well.

This is a nice little fast food style Thai restaurant, with fresh ingredients and great customer service. It’s located just off Virginia Beach Blvd. and Lynnhaven Pkwy, close to the Hobby Lobby, so it’s pretty easy to find and not out-of-the way. The place is very clean and relaxing , with a modern decor. It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite, and the green curry is phenomenal! The egg rolls are good too, just give them a chance to cool off. The food is prepared made-to-order, so mine were still hot, and I was a little too impatient, lol! We ordered egg rolls, green curry and veggie fried rice. We also had water. The drinks didn’t come with straws, and there weren’t any readily available, but one of the staff members went to the supply area and brought us straws to our table. I thought that was very kind, especially since water is free. Just a note: The pictures are of our to-go order. I was enjoying my sit-down order so much that I forgot to photograph it.

I ordered the yellow curry with chicken (spice level 2), Tom yum (spice level 5) and drunken noodles (spice level 3). The instant we walked in we were kindly greeted, but also given plenty of time to look at the menu before ordering. I would love to wax poetic, but no one will read that so here’s the short version.

Tom yum spice level 5- super spicy for someone who loves spicy foods. We were even given extra spices in a container. Full of flavor too. Highly recommend.

Yellow curry with chicken spice level 2 – also highly recommend this item. Perfectly flavored and spice. This is the one pictured, at halfway done.

Drunken noodles spicy level 3 – recommend eating this fresh, not to go like we did. It was still really good just the noodles were sticking together a lot.

All in all, great food and definitely my new Thai place.

I live in NYC and have traveled to Thailand twice and I was really disappointed in this pad thai, the chicken was the normal quality and texture but the sauce on the noodles was not like I have had before. Level 5 spicy was also too hot even if you love spice.
