My Friends and I tried Taste of Tara and we were extremely satisfied. It is a small place, but big enough for my group. I can’t wait to have my big luncheon there. I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Fried Catfish and it was DELICIOUS!!! The Host and Servers were extremely nice and helpful. I will recommend this place for anyone to try. Thank you “Taste of Tara” for making our visit a WONDERFUL one!

Went here for brunch with my girlfriends. My friend stays in the neighborhood and she heard great things about this place. The decor is very chic, tea time, girly. We loved it. All in all, the food was alright. My friend said her salmon was very salty. The bananna pudding was awful. I don’t know if they didn’t let it set or what but I don’t recommend it. I did like my fish and grits and fried green tomatoes. The restaurant was connected to Juicy Crab. We all had to use the restaurant before we left. That was pretty odd and surprising.

We had an awesome time! Food was so yummy! Service was great & the atmosphere was fun. It’s very odd to me to see even one negative review about this restaurant. Im not believing it. It seems like someone mad the beautiful owner wouldn’t date them or some very personal issue. I love the food especially the cheesy biscuits! You gotta go try them…best biscuits EVER!!❤️

I was extremely pleased with my visit to Taste of Tara . Everything was a 10. And we visited on Valentine’s Day last minute and they accommodated us with no problem. Service and food was top tier.

I visited Taste of Tara for the first time today, and it was such a delightful experience. The atmosphere is whimsical and elegant — like a grown-up tea party with soft pink blooms, velvet chairs, and touches that make the space feel cozy and classy.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everything felt thoughtfully done.

This place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a charming, relaxing brunch spot.

January 2026 update:

I recently visited Taste of Tara in Jonesboro and had a great experience from start to finish. This is a boutique, upscale brunch spot that feels intentionally designed for celebrations and special moments. The space is warm and inviting, with Southern charm and cherry blossom details that make it feel intimate without being cramped. It’s also super convenient being just minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

The food is made fresh daily and definitely delivers. The salmon croquette was flavorful and well-seasoned, the fish and grits were rich and satisfying, and the stuffed French toast was indulgent without being overly sweet. Everything came out hot and beautifully plated. Service was attentive and welcoming, which really elevated the overall experience.

If you’re looking for an elevated brunch option in the Jonesboro area or a hidden gem near the airport, Taste of Tara is worth checking out. It’s a great spot for brunch dates, birthdays, or anyone who appreciates quality food and a polished but comfortable atmosphere.

I finally got the chance to check out Taste of Tara in Jonesboro, and wow—this place is such a gem! It’s only about 8 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson, which makes it super convenient whether you’re local or just flying in and want a nice brunch spot.

The space is intimate (seating around 50 or so), and the interior is gorgeous with cherry blossoms that give it a southern, almost celebratory vibe. It feels upscale without being stuffy—perfect for a date, brunch with friends, or even a special occasion.

The menu is full of scratch-made dishes, and you can taste the quality in every bite. I love that they do early bird specials—½ off shareables on weekdays before noon and $5 mimosas daily before noon. Such a great deal if you get there early!

The star of the show for me was the 3-Tier Brunch Tower ($99). It’s designed for 2–4 people, but honestly, it’s such a spread I think you could stretch it. It came loaded with croquette bites, Cajun crab dip, deviled eggs, a honey fried chicken biscuit, bacon, sweet jalapeño wings, and the cutest strawberry biscuit waffle. Every layer had something memorable, but the Cajun crab dip and the strawberry waffle were standouts for me.

Service was also spot on—friendly, attentive, and really made the experience feel special. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Taste of Tara if you’re looking for an elevated brunch with a southern twist. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

✨ Great food, great drinks, and service that makes you feel taken care of.

I just had the most lovely birthday brunch at Taste of Tara, and they did NOT disappoint. The food was so delicious (especially the berry cheesecake pancake) and the Bellini sunrise cocktail was soooo fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back!!

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles, welcoming us in. As a first timer, this was truly appreciated. The atmosphere was very charming. We were promptly taken to our seats and offered a beverage. Our waitress was phenomenal, anticipating our every need before we even asked. The food was also truly amazing! – we selected several dishes to see what we liked, but each dish was equally delicious. I will certainly be a repeat, loyal customer.

This place was so good! My homegirl and I loved the hash brown bowl. The waitress/manager was super sweet. Also the design on the restaurant was so cute , perfect for pictures. My friends also has a seafood allergy and the chef was able to accommodate her. The only complaint we had was the fact that we couldn’t find the restaurant at first bc there was no sign . It’s right next to a crab shack. It’s so good if we’re ever in Atl will def visit them again.

The food was so amazing, the customer service was above and beyond expectations. We had a reservation and it took less than 10 minutes for us ti be serviced and the service from beginning to end was prompt and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for parties big and small. But with only me and my husband the ambience felt intimate, cozy, and beautifully set up for a relaxed evening together. We never felt rushed, and every detail made the experience feel special. We will definitely be coming back!
