INCREDIBLE! The staff is so wonderful and accommodating. The food was absolutely authentic and delicious. Very generous portions for the price! Definitely will be taking a trek back down to the area to try more dishes!

We visited this restaurant with a child and had a very mixed experience.

When we walked in, one staff member greeted us warmly. He was well-dressed, calm, polite, and professional. Honestly, he set the tone well and made us feel welcome.

Unfortunately, things went downhill once another staff member took our order. His attitude and professionalism were disappointing. We clearly requested biryani with less spice since a child was eating. What we received was barely recognizable as biryani. It looked bland, tasted odd, and lacked even basic flavor.

When we politely asked why the biryani looked and tasted like this after eating a few bites, the response was shocking. He said, “That’s how we make it. You asked for less spice, so no biryani masala, because we mix spice powder in biriyani masala.
That explanation makes no sense. Reducing spice does not mean removing biryani masala entirely. Biryani without masala isn’t biryani — it’s just plain rice with chicken (picture attached – No Indian will never accept this as Biriyani in this whole world)

Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, he doubled down with a dismissive attitude, which made the situation worse.

It’s frustrating because the restaurant clearly has staff who understand hospitality, but inconsistent service and a complete lack of basic food knowledge ruined the experience. Respectful communication and a basic understanding of what customers are ordering should be the bare minimum.

I hope management addresses this, because good service from one staff member doesn’t cancel out poor food handling and rude explanations from another.

Update after owners response :
Thank you for replying, but this does not fully reflect what happened.

We asked for less spice for a child, not flavorless biryani or biryani without masala. Reducing spice does not mean removing the core seasoning of the dish, and that was never explained to us while ordering.

The food was served as-is. Only after we questioned the taste were explanations given, including the claim that biryani masala cannot be used at all for low spice, which is simply incorrect.

An offer to “fix it” came only after a dismissive explanation, by which point the experience had already deteriorated. Declining a remake after that should not be portrayed as unreasonable

Past issues with other customers do not justify serving poorly prepared food. Child-friendly food can still have proper flavor — many restaurants manage this without problems.

I have been eating here more often lately and they do a great job on apps and dinner and naan.. I know they started a buffet, but I think their chef I like ordering in the main dining room from them. I think they just need better advertising because they’re food is really good and it hits the spot when you’re looking for something different. Table cloths are one thing, but the dress code is still casual.

We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. My son truly enjoyed the meal, which made the experience even more special for us. The dessert they offered us was incredibly delicious and a perfect way to end the night. We will definitely be coming back!

Me and my sister are big fans of Indian food. We started off great, the staff is so friendly and greeted us as if we have been friends for a lifetime. The seating is cozy and the atmosphere is very sophisticated you can tell they try. As for the food my sister had the butter chicken with garlic naan. I opted for the chicken biryani with regular naan. When I say this butter chicken is one of the best I’ve tried that is no exaggeration as for the biryani I don’t have the words to describe how delicious it was. The naan was perfect it hit in the way you want it to.
We will come back again and it’s a surprise that this place isn’t full every night.

Amazing, amazing, amazing cuisine! I tried something completely new and so glad I did. The food is fantastic!! It was all perfect. The owners and staff are all super sweet. They will also customize the spice level as needed. They truly do go above and beyond with incredible top tier service. We were checked on several times, drinks refilled and the food came out at a great time. This has to be hands down the best Indian cuisine in the area!

I really enjoyed Taste of Spice tonight. I had really been wanting some Indian food and decided to treat my littles to it for my birthday. The experience was awesome. I knew it was going to be tricky because I have a picky eater but the owner/manager made it awesome. He even gave me some suggestions so we both would enjoy or meals. When my son decided not to eat the owner/manager brought out some options to cater to him. My son let him know we were celebrating my birthday and they even brought out cake for me in the end. It was awesome and the butter Chicken was delightful. 10 out if 10 would recommend.

Horrible food and expensive too. Avoid this place.
I have never seen Tandoori Chicken served over a saucy bed of veggies. It was just some frozen chicken breast chunks baked before serving. I dont think pre-marinated as well. It was very chewy too. Check the pic.
We also ordered Daal Makhni, Some bachelor chicken curry and rice. The daal makhi didnt have the element of makhni in it. The chicken curry was again pieces of breast chicken in some curry. The rice was very hard boiled.
They can fool only non-desis only with their farzi recipes. But I know what my food should taste like. They only good thing was the staff behavior.
