Taste of Scandinavia Bakery & Cafe is an excellent spot for breakfast or some baked goods. I stopped by one day and picked up a fruit pastry which I unfortunately forgot the name of, and it was delicious. They had a large variety of pastries that all looked and sounded excellent. They also have seating available and other breakfast options other than pastries, such as sandwiches along with several drink options. The service was also great, the gentleman behind the counter was nice to explain things since I’d never been to one of their locations before. Overall, Taste of Scandinavia is a phenomenal bakery and cafe and I fully recommend you stop by and get something to eat.

They always have a very friendly staff and usually when I order the Lefsa and fresh fruit it’s always very fresh!
Just a nice small little café, and a couple of other shops along the strip mall. When the weather is nice, you can sit along the shop and along the outside court, which is very pleasant for the day along with the sunshine!

Fabulous breakfast! I don’t usually take pictures of my order, but the Taste of Scandinavia sampler I couldn’t resist. I was amazed at the superb quality of service and the picture perfect and delicious breakfast I received at 6 am when the store just opened-up on a normal weekday. The service was amazing and my latte as good as it gets. Loganberries were a special treat sprinkled throughout the sampler and the Canadian bacon extraordinarily lean and savory to offset the sweetness of the crepes and French-toast. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant whenever you want to treat yourself to a Scandinavian breakfast or even just a pastry. I’m certain my grandmother would have enjoyed coming here with me if she were still around to do so. I look forward to coming back for the eggs Benedict and a sweet roll with my family soon. Thank you to the warm, welcoming, and thoughtful staff for our brief but delightful conversations and making my morning something special when I really needed a pick-me-up on my way to work.

I’ve eaten here twice now and the food was spectacular both times! The options for both the bakery and cafe are vast. I love that everything isn’t overly sweet or heavy. My mom’s pancakes, light and airy with a fantastic tang from the berries and lemon. My breakfast wrap, perfectly done in both cooking and flavor. I will definitely be back as I want to work my way through their menu.

It’s always hoppin’ here but we’ve never had problems getting a table! Definitely easier for small parties as it is a smaller space. The American breakfast was phenomenal, eggs cooked perfectly and super fresh bread! I also loved the combo option with half a waffle – delicious! Their bakery items were amazing and they also had some more traditional Scandinavian baked goods too!

What a delightful cafe! I was impressed with the large menu of breakfast and lunch items but I came for Christmas cookies and pastries. They have so many beautiful cookies to make an impressive cookie platter for family and guests. I arrived at 6:15 because the reviews said they can get really busy. There were two tables of older men eating breakfast and I was the only person waiting to order. I don’t know why someone gave this fewer stars because of the “unusual” seating. The tables are in two rows all on one side like any other cafe or a subway restaurant or coffee shop. There is plenty of seating for a cafe style restaurant and if the tables are full then wait or take your food to go. It’s not the job of the staff at a cafe to manage the tables and know if there’s seating available for you, especially when they are so busy. What a weird expectation. I don’t expect caribou to monitor their tables for little ol me. Anyhow I can’t wait to pick up my Buche de Noel for Christmas!

A pleasant restaurant/bakery with a large selection of sweet and savory foods! It was quite busy when we went on the weekend; despite limited seating, we were able to get a table.
The Eggs Benedict and the Lefsa breakfast were quite tasty. We were surprised how quickly they were prepared (~6-7 minutes). The pastries tasted fresh. I wasn’t a huge fan of the coffee, however, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. Otherwise, service and food was quite good!

Today I went to try this cafe with friends. It was a first visit for all of us.
I ordered the Lutefisk Dinner— expensive– but I wanted to try it. When I got home and shared the pictures with family, I realized I never got the roll and butter with my meal as stated in their paper on the counter of which I had taken a picture.
Some workers weren’t very friendly, but others were pleasant.
Our group had mixed reviews on the food.
The coffee is excellent.
After eating there, I did purchase some bakery items to take home for my family to try for Thanksgiving.

Delightful cafe with a bakery open until close! The kitchen sadly & surprisingly closes at 1400. The food is phenomenal & the cappuccino wonderful! During nice weather, there is a charming courtyard that is a must to experience!
