Did not include cheese with pretzel bites or fries, paid for it on both, the Philly was tasty but the Reuben that was $16 was the most sorry excuse for a Rueben I have ever seen! Arby’s does a better Rueben for $6. Won’t be back!

Ordered two Works cheesesteaks a 9″ and one a 12″, both were supposed to have pepper spread and the 12″ one was supposed to have extra meat. Got home and it was two 12″ sandwiches, neither with extra meat and no pepper spread. Neither sandwich denoted any handwriting on them to tell which one was the one with extra meat. Both seemed like even less than normal meat im fact. This place is wildly inconsistent. Will not be going back after several years of patronage. Seems like the employees who were there tonight didn’t really care about my order.

I’ve always enjoyed taste of Philly. The bread is so very good and the ooey gooey goodness of their cheesesteak makes my mouth happy! Haha! I gave less stars for service and atmosphere. Let me address atmosphere first. I have no expectation that atmosphere plays a part in a restaurant in a strip mall. It is what it is. It was fine. Not great just fine. But the important part here… It was clean! As for service, order was taken, food was provided hot and prompt. But let’s be clear, the people behind the counter are not there to be my friend, and they’re not paid enough to even pretend to like me. So service was fine They did what they were supposed to do. They weren’t rude, but they weren’t my best friend either. And that’s okay. The main thing was my cheesesteak sandwich and fries. Oh my goodness the fries!

I ordered pickup for a regular Philly and two chicken tenders kids meals. The menu online is incorrect- pricing is significantly lower on the online menu. The chicken tenders kids meal advertise two tenders and fries. Both of our kids meals came with one and a quarter tenders. Literally they must be cutting them up- you can see the cut edge. For $7, 1.25 chicken tenders is awful. I emailed them but they never responded.

Go elsewhere and save a headache. The employee who took our order and brought it to our table was not very friendly. The food we received tasted okay, but if you compare the steak sandwiches they advertise for sale and the sandwich you actually receive, it was completely different (see pics). In my opinion very over priced. If you’re going to be rude to your customers and would like to keep their business, you should at least give them a reason to come back, and over priced under portioned food is not the way to do it.

This place was opened some months ago and we wanted to try out their special. They have a fine selection of subs and a few varieties of philly cheese steak. I ordered the green chilli cheese steak. It was okay I would say, about average. The place is not crowded because it was a Saturday afternoon. The staff was nice and helpful and they were quick to prepare the food.

Hubs and I had the 8″ philly cheesesteaks, mine w peppers, his w peppers & mushrooms. We LOVED them! They were big, healthy portions and tasted delicious. My mom had the kids philly, and it was very good as well, about 6″. Daughter had a hoagie, and she liked it.
It’s much better than the place we’ve been going to on 120th & Sheridan. DEFINITELY a bigger sandwich, and that’s comparing the 8″ here to the 10″ inch at the other place.
On service, hubs had to wait about 5-10 minutes after arriving from placing our order online. Overall, we will DEFINITELY be back. I’m very happy to have a Taste of Philly back in the Thornton area. 🙂
