The pizza was actually crunchy, sweet tomato sauce and not over done. Pretty delicious pizza. Way better the 5 points pizza!
Even before you walk through the door, you’re greeted by Frank Sinatra crooning from the speakers. Classy move. Inside, the decor keeps it simple but sharp, with wood furnishings and old-school jazz playing to give it a vibe that feels more like a laid-back jazz lounge than a strip mall pizza stop.
We ordered the stuffed meat pizza blanketed in cheese, and this thing came out like a heavyweight contender. Hefty, cheesy, packed with flavor, and that cheese pull looked like it belonged in a commercial. Every bite delivered.
Bottom line: this place is more than worth a return trip. If you’re looking for legit pizza with some soul behind it, this spot delivers.
This is without a doubt the best pizza I have had since I moved down to Tennessee in ’21 and arguably the best I have had in recent memory (including my trip up to Long Island back in August).
I live in Clarksville — about an hour from the Brentwood location, but I commute here daily. This pizza is good enough that, the next time my family wants to order pizza, I would order here and bring it an hour back with me to Clarksville. 10/10, would recommend.
Update: I forgot to mention that the bathroom comes stocked with a bidet. Brilliant. Eat the pizza, expel the pizza, and worry not for the cleanliness of your post-meal, posterior.
Ordered a cheese pizza with extra cheese and sauce – any normal person would understand that sauce goes under the cheese, yes? What was instead provided to us was a pizza pie, with ladels of sauce covering the cheese. I thought this was New York-style pizza? Do they not teach geography in schools anymore & therefore they confused Chicago and New York? That can be the only explanation for what was provided.
When we expressed our displeasure and told them we would like the proper ‘order of operations’ for our pizza, we were told tough luck. We were told that next time, we should include specific instructions that tell them how to make the pizza. Our apologies!! We thought y’all were the professionals & would know how to make a pizza.
In this economy, maybe spend your money with a local restaurant who treats their customers with respect.
Highly recommended to those who like Chicago-style pizza!
Decided to try it again. Ordered delivery this time, was promised in an hour, was delivered in 40 minutes. My husband ordered the house calzone and said it was much better. I had the Italian Sub (hot) and it was yummy as well. We were supposed to have a house salad with one of the entrees but I didn’t realize that. The restaurant called, apologizing, offering to send someone out with it at no additional cost. We told them that was not necessary. Great service. Maybe previously they were just having an off day. Will order from here again.
Ordered for take out dinner. I got the chicken Parm sub. Husband got a calzone. The chicken in my sub was very dry. My husband said he felt like he had an overabundance of cheese and a smattering of other toppings.
We had visited the downtown location and really enjoyed it. Maybe the OHB one was having an off day. Our food was ready when we were told and the staff was friendly.
Service: excellent
Facilities: excellent
Wait time: excellent
Value: standard. 2 slices and a drink for ~$11 is common
Food: delicious, but a couple notes from a pizza snob
1) the fold flopped big time, the dough was too thin at center causing soggy sag
2) if you are wary of the grease steer clear from the meat heavy slices. Was pleasantly surprised only one drop of grease from the supreme, Impressive!
3) sauce and cheese ratio was excellent
Overall grade: A-
