The last time I visited this restaurant was over 20 years ago with my dad. The food was amazing then and amazing today!! The staff, the vibe and the food were perfect!!! I ordered biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. Their biscuits and gravy was the best I’ve ever eaten. I will be going back again soon. Honestly probably this upcoming weekend. My sister and her husband enjoyed their food also.

I had biscuits and gravy hash browns salmon patties. so for what reason they decided not to make the traditional gravy that goes with biscuits and gravy idk if the didn’t know how or they just decided to put a black people spin on the dish whatever the gravy and the biscuits were good independently not together it gave smothered pork chop gravy. the salmon patties had egg shells in them and were tasteless the hash browns where is expected recognizably consistent not impressed won’t be returning.i like the atmosphere. Like that it was blk owned however the men were very standoffish not gracious or courteous at all . the women were polite and pleasant

So my brother in law to my 91yo mom, myself and my 2 sisters out for brunch and it was delicious! He ordered Chicken and waffles, one sister ordered chicken and pancakes, mom ordered eggs, hash browns and catfish, my other sister ordered shrimp and grits with biscuits and I had the wing meal with scrambled eggs with pepper jack cheese and grits with cheddar cheese and wheat toast and coffee with hazelnut cream. EVERYTHING I ORDERED was perfection? Everyone completely and thoroughly enjoyed their food.
Our server TANGIE was absolutely the best! She was attentive, accommodating and her recommendations were spot on…those chicken wings are REPEAT worthy. They were seasoned to perfection, crispy, crunchy, juicy and they looked so good they were almost too beautiful to eat…but of course we annihilated them!
Actually we all had left overs, plenty!
A special shout out to Brian who helped bring the food out. A very nice fella and ALL the staff from entry to exit were professional and personable.
I highly recommend this spot on the south side of Chicago.

Daley’s is a great diner with an extensive menu. I settled on trying the tuna melt and my friend tried the fried wings. The tuna melt was great and the dill in the tuna salad added a good herbal note. The fries were also done well. The chicken wings were done well, although my friend said they could have been more heavily seasoned. Both meals were a good deal for the price in my opinion. The staff was professional and the interior was comfortable and clean.

To start off daily was one of my better breakfast spots. Today not good at all. I ordered one of my regular breakfasts, salmon patties, egg, scrambled medium rice, and biscuit. Right before they bought my breakfast out, I heard someone else complained that the rice and eggs were cold. I didn’t think anything of it at that moment. But my salmon patties were hard ,overcooked and cold. The eggs and the rice were also cold and the biscuits wasn’t as fluffy and hot as they used to be . The service is OK although they had only one Waitress on the side, I was ordering from working. I can tell it was a new cook when they bought out the salmon patties and the biscuits and a cold rice and eggs and before I said something to my waitress, she did ask me if I wanted to send it back and get another plate. I said no. Because I don’t like sending things back and then they bringing new food back out to me . I don’t know who’s back there in the back cooking the food , so I wasn’t going to do that. I ate half of it got my bill left a left a tip for the waitress and left knowing that that was the last time that I will eat at Daley’s .

Worst service ever.. Never again will we come back… No greetings when we walked in to be seated. Smh we had to sit ourselves. The waitress is just as rude that’s so called the manager. How are you the manager and you never came back to the table and to talk back in front of the guests when we she sees us asking for a manager and find out she’s your manager Hilarious at it’s finest because I never met a manager that’s so unprofessional and disrespectful. Not only that.. the cup we received first was dirty and the food that we received they gave us the wrong skillet.. Sounds like New Management with Training that’s clearly needed

I’ve gone her 2x within the last 3 weeks.
The first time my order was lukewarm and eggs were cooked incorrectly and small portion. I asked for cheese and didn’t see or taste any but I just let it be. The second time I went a few days ago. The food came out small portions especially the eggs. Once again everything was lukewarm and by the time the pancakes were brought out separately, my food was actually cold. I don’t like sending food back so once again I just let it be. I don’t know if I will be revisiting anytime soon. This place used to be a whole lot better.
The waitress and waiters and cashiers were very friendly…
