The Orange Chicken was fantástic! Nice and crispy with a unique citrus orange glaze. My deep fry fish was amazing this restaurant is the best flavors and quality of food goes above and beyond 5 star, a Michelin star flavors so good if come to Houston downtown this it guys highly recommended

Had an amazing time at Taste of Mulan! We started with chrysanthemum tea, which came with complimentary goji berries and rock sugar—such a nice, thoughtful touch.
Tried a few dim sum dishes like the xiu mai, shrimp dumplings, and their specialty shrimp—everything was packed with meat and super flavorful. For mains, we went with the black oil truffle seafood noodles from the chef’s menu and the spicy Hunan chicken with rice. Both were so good—bold flavors and really well made.
Just when we thought we were done, they brought out complimentary strawberry and vanilla ice cream served over a bed of smoke. The presentation on everything was stunning.
Service was great—super attentive and considerate—and the whole place is clean and beautifully decorated. We’ll definitely be back with friends and family. Perfect spot for groups or a date night!

It was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon, but the staff were attentive and efficient.
The restaurant offered ample space for a stroller and had adjustable seating options, making it easy to accommodate a car seat.
I ordered the whole Peking duck, which was served with a side of duck soup. The crispy skin was absolutely perfect, and there was no gamey flavor whatsoever. While both the pancakes and fluffy buns were available for the duck, I personally preferred the pancakes. The soup, made with the duck bones, was rich, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the meal.

We came on memorial day and got the lunch special Sautéed beef with Egg drop soup & Egg roll for less than $20, we really appreciate the staff, especially CC. She was amazing and never let our waters hit the bottom. Super kind.

Overall great experience with a lot of choices. The food was very good and consistent across all of the dishes. There was nothing that went uneaten. We mainly had dim sum and it was all tasty. All of the soup dumplings were great, but not that flavor bomb I have received elsewhere. I would be happy to come back any time to try some other dishes that are not dim sum.

Wow! Blown away with how clean and welcoming this restaurant is. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and the staff from the beginning was incredible! My water was never half full, when I was done with a plate they removed them immediately and constantly made sure I had everything we needed. The Dim Sum was phenomenal, I loved the vegetable pan fried dumplings and the puffy BBO pork dim sum. They also we’re celebrating the lunar new year and came around with a box after we paid and we got to draw a card in celebration of the new year; we won a gift card for next visit. I thought this was very thoughtful. Great dining experience

Very convenient location with a great selection of dumplings and food! We loved the crab roe soup dumplings, pork and cabbage dumplings, sweet and sour soup, and sesame chicken. Pretty affordable price for our weekly dinner outing, and fast wait times. Our server Jesse was super sweet and attentive. We live nearby so we will definitely be back!

I went for lunch on a Thursday, the service was quick and very sweet to a single traveler It was just a quiet reading lunch so I got tea and two orders of dim sum – sooo good!! The tea was loose leaf and served with traditional berries + rock sugar … so fancy and I loved it got a quick scoop of chocolate ice cream and it was served so beautifully If I lived here I would be there every week 🙂

We also ordered the Dry Pot with beef and lamb, and it was equally impressive. This dish was a fantastic explosion of textures and tastes. The combination of tender beef and lamb, along with a medley of perfectly cooked lotus root and various vegetables and enoki mushrooms and fragrant spices, created a truly addictive flavor profile. The presentation in the pot was also visually appealing.
Matcha ice cream. It was the ideal light and refreshing dessert, with a smooth texture and the distinct, subtly sweet flavor of matcha. The presentation, with the gentle wisps of nitrogen smoke, added a touch of elegance and a memorable final note to an already outstanding dining experience.
