I recently had dinner at Taste of Min in Duluth and went with a small group so we were able to try several dishes, and honestly every single one exceeded expectations. First off, the restaurant itself has a really comfortable and authentic feel. It’s casual but lively, and you can tell a lot of people there are regulars who know exactly what they came for. The staff were welcoming and efficient even though the place was busy. Food came out at a great pace, which made it perfect for sharing multiple plates. We ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a bit of everything, and it really felt like each one had its own personality rather than tasting similar like you sometimes get at other places. Something I really liked about the meal overall was how well everything complemented each other. Instead of one dish overpowering the rest, the whole spread worked together in a really satisfying way. It made the meal feel more like a true shared dining experience rather than just ordering random plates. Portions were also generous, which made it great for family-style dining. Everyone left full but still wishing we had room to try a few more things on the menu. Overall, Taste of Min is definitely a gem in Duluth. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and dishes that clearly have a lot of care behind them, this is absolutely a place worth visiting. Whether you’re going with friends, family, or even just want to explore something new on the menu, it’s a spot that delivers consistently across the board. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more dishes.

Our friends recommended this hot pot place and we really enjoyed it!
Although I recommend knowing some or bringing someone who knows Chinese, my boyfriend had to order and talk for me But all the staff were very kind and attentive to our table!
I got the Golden base soup because they said it was spicy and sour, but less spicy. My boyfriend got it normal and it was a bit too spicy for his liking but he still loved it!
I love that we could get up and get what we want from the bar of food, including meats and desserts at the end! (I loved the coffee ice cream )

I can say this place is comfort place to hang out, chill with friends and family and have tasty Hot Pot in reasonable price. They have options of vegetable and noodles, but for meat, have only 3 options but it was totally fine. You can mix and match your sauce by yourselves. Most of the ingredients were frozen though. Overall, we really enjoy it. They also have ice cream for dessert too.

Lunch price (Adult $19.98) even on weekends! Great value! When we were there on a Sunday lunch time, the restaurant was average 60-80% full. Quick service. But the professionalism for some employees could use some improvements (more greeting, more chit chat, be more proactively to ask guests on what they want to order, etc).
Decent amount of food to choose from, which they have the beef with less fat.
All in all, we had a great dining experience and will consider to return and will recommend this place!

This location was previously a hot pot place but is now a late night Chinese restaurant by the same owner. It’s super confusing reading the reviews- there is no hot pot anymore.
Sit down and enjoy Chinese salted peanuts and soy pickled diakon. Food is presented well and is well loved by those from Fuzhou. Love that this option is available to those who miss these dishes.
For daily selections, go straight to the back and pick out the market offerings.
Pros:
Cons: water only available by water bottles
The restaurant decor and signs are all in Chinese.

I recently visited Hot Pot Times and was blown away by the affordable all-you-can-eat option. The staff was fantastic at clearing away our plates and keeping things tidy. The variety of meat options, including clams and oysters, was impressive and the value for the price is unbeatable. However, I did have some issues with the vegetable selection as some of them were not properly washed and made my soup taste gritty. While the food quality may not be top-notch, the value for the price is insane. Overall, I would recommend Hot Pot Times for those looking for a budget-friendly all-you-can-eat experience, just be sure to temper your expectations on the food quality.

I’ve never seen a cheaper all-you can eat hotpot place, and it even has drinks included. 21$ for the lunch price is CRAZY. Great tasting stuff, not as large a selection as KPot, but when it’s almost half the price, that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. Also, it was cool to see Chinese influence on the hotpot scene, something that’s been so dominated by the Koreans (who I also love, but yk). Loved it, will be back again even though I live 5 hours away.

Another dining option in the Duluth area is a hot pot restaurant. The quality of the hot pot is average compared to the price. The protein options are basic, and the fresh vegetable selection is limited. However, the seafood options are good. Overall, it is not a bad place to try.

Overall a casual sit down experience, my first at an authentic Hot Pot diner. The service staff were all polite and helpful. The customers appeared to be having a great time with the whole process. Being a hot pot novice a wonderful manager explained very patiently how to select the dishes, soup base and dips and use the burner to cook them. A waiter showed me how to hold the chopsticks I was quite preoccupied by the ritual of this meal and how delicious it was. The service staff cleaned continuously kept the tables clutter free. Slight caveat, those dishes are a lot when combining in the soup, it’s a big meal.
