I went here for lunch for the very first time and was absolutely blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere! I’m so glad we decided to try something new and give them a try. The owner served us and treated us like we were her own family. Our drinks were always full and she offered to give us extra rice to take home with our leftovers since the portion sizes were very generous for the price. We had the Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, Samosas, and cheese/garlic naan. They also had great sauces to dip everything in. We will definitely be back!

This has quickly become one of our favorites in Pocatello. They have several dishes on the menu that aren’t typically offered at Indian restaurants, like the chicken momo. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious!

I called earlier today to order biryani. The person asked what biryani. I asked what options they had. They told me chicken, lamb, shrimp and vegetables. I asked if they had beef and they told me they didn’t and said there were other restaurants in town that had that. I was trying to see if there were other beef options but they kept saying to go to the other restaurants. Its great that they were promoting other businesses but would be nice if they had tried to be more welcoming and offered me other options that could have made me order from them. I ended up ordering from a different place.

We really enjoyed our time at Taste of India & Nepal. The Hostess was really sweet with our daughter and was excellent at waitressing our table. This was our first time dining in, usually we get it take out. Such a great authentic Indian Restaurants. One of our favorite locations in Pocatello! I’m Glad we found this Gem in old town I wish I could have left a bigger Tip, this place deserves it!

I visited Idaho and was craving Indian food, so I stopped by Taste of Nepal. I ordered the chicken 65, but the lady at the counter was incredibly rude. When I asked if the meat is halal and if they had a certificate, she said the food is halal but they don’t have a certificate, and if I wanted to see one, I should go to another restaurant. Unbelievable. If she wasn’t so senior, I would’ve given her a piece of my mind. I chose to respect her age and left instead.

I went an hour out of my way to eat here. I am diabetic and can’t have processed foods. I was so irritated to find they are utterly incompetent and can’t even update their website to proper hours. Owning a heavy duty truck it cost over $70 to go out of my way.

I had momo at Taste of India and really enjoyed it. The flavor was rich, and the texture was just right. Would definitely have it again!

This is not only the best restaurant in Pocatello, but the best Indian food we’ve ever found (everywhere we travel we check out their Indian food scene and nothing has been as good)! A paradise for vegetarians to find a protein-rich meal. Our favorite is daal, chana masala and malai kofta.

This place is wonderful! The food is so delicious and filling and the service is top notch. The owner (?) will hold and play with our babies while we eat. We love it!

The food was fantastic! The garlic naan came hot fresh out of the oven and was the perfect combo of fluffy and crunchy. The exotic curry was soul-warming and hearty. The vegetable samosas were crunchy and generously filled. Highly recommend this spot if you’re into Indian cuisine
