Update!! I went back to try the butter chicken omg it was so good. The ingredients taste so fresh and everything was hot, with the basmati rice and the garlic nuns are so good definitely paired well.I definitely will be back again. 20 out of 10
I love the decorum of the restaurants it is very cultural and very unique, however the food was even better a little spicy I got the chicken biryani it’s a medium and it was definitely spice but the sauce it came with complimented it, I would definitely just do mild, however it was good service was great gentleman was very attentive and professional. 8 out of 10!

We stopped at Taste of India today while traveling from Indiana to Chicago, and it was a great decision. The food was really delicious fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted authentic and well balanced, from the curries to the naan and rice.
The service was just as good as the food friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, which is always appreciated when you’re on a long drive.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Indian food on the way. We’ll definitely stop here again next time!

Ordered the Goat Biryani, but the experience was quite disappointing. The service was really slow, and even after asking two servers for raita, it never arrived. I even called the person who seemed to be the manager, but there was no response. The “goat” tasted more like mutton (sheep), and the biryani itself seemed like plain white rice mixed with masala rather than being properly cooked together. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.

We always get takeout so I can’t speak to “Atmosphere” BUT man that is some delicious food! It always is. Chicken in the masala is tender and generous. It is my family’s favorite. I am always greeted immediately when I walk in, and they actually show me everything in my order before I leave, so I know it is all there. Super friendly, very yummy.

We frequently travel from Chicago to Indianapolis, and this restaurant has become our mandatory pit stop. My husband absolutely loves Indian food, while I usually avoid it because I have zero tolerance for spicy heat.
However, this place is a total game-changer! I love that I can order my food ‘mild’ and still experience the full, rich flavor of the spices without the burn. It’s rare to find a kitchen that can dial down the heat while keeping the soul of the dish intact. Now we can both enjoy a meal together where everyone is happy. Definitely worth the stop if you are traveling on I-65

It’s always a pleasure to eat at the Taste of India! They provide a variety of authentic Indian food that is delicious.
Their menu is vast with options for flavorful vegan, vegetarian, and keto diets. This is what initially led us to the restaurant, but the quality and flavor of the food keep us coming back.
The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean. The service is prompt. The food is fresh.

Got there relatively late on a Saturday night, but the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we never felt rushed. The chicken tikka masala was great with just the right amount of spice. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted great.

1st time there and 1st time eating at an Indian restaurant. Excellent food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I got the medium spices and still has a kick. Excellent place.

Been going here for years when we travel through Indiana, always try to make a stop. We get the tandoori paneer, one of our fav dishes ever at an Indian restaurant, comes out sizzling, you squeeze some lemon on it, it’s a really special dish. Love the big pieces of paneer, the sweet onions. Always good service. Usually pretty quiet when we are there, not a very vibrant atmosphere, but clean & nice, it seems like a lot of their business is take-outs. Once they got our order wrong and they were very accommodating. They pay attention when you have a request like no cilantro for my husband. Thanks for many years of deliciousness!
