This was an amazing find and we may be back tomorrow because it was so good! Started off with a cup of delicious French onion soup. Then we enjoyed the best fried catfish we have ever had. The crust was crunchy and the fish fresh and light. It was flaky, and not mushy at all. We also enjoyed prime rib and baby back ribs. Prime Rib was a treat and the ribs were full of smoky goodness. Jeremiah was top notch and so nice!

Taste of Dandridge is a wonderful place to dine. We’re from out of town on a couples vacation and we choose to come here for our last night in town! I got the chicken salad and it was divine!! The only feedback I have to add is that the croutons need cut in half – however they are 100% in house made, you can tell and they are delicious.
My husband got the fried catfish which he said was good, it tasted clean the breading was good and it was fried well! He said the French fries weren’t really good but the coleslaw was fantastic!!!

Stumbled upon this cute place down the road from us. The staff was extremely friendly and service was great. Atmosphere had a quaint country vibe to it. I had the fried shrimp (the shrimp was large) with seasoned rice, a salad, and baked potato. The meals come with hot yeast rolls. When they say seasoned, they mean seasoned. I found the seasoning quite salty on the rice as well as the shrimp but otherwise it was good. Just be aware when ordering. My husband and son both got the hamburger steak and both were raving about it. We will be back.

This was our first visit. I want to warn everyone if you get a fully loaded baked potato on anything expect to pay up to 2 dollars more. Everything on our receipt was 2 to 3 dollars more because of a fully loaded baked potato. We were not told this when ordering. Our bill for 5 was $115.00. The server forgot to add drinks, we found that out after we were discussing the tip after seeing how everything was more then the menu pricing. The drink thing came up because she was eavesdropping on our conversation from around the corner. Then when she went to put it on the card we heard her complaining and yelling that she had it with people. I have been a server for 10 years…I know how it works and you don’t eavesdrop from around a corner on their conversation, and you don’t blame someone else for ringing it up like that when they can see you do it. I or anyone else I know will never go here again. This place for me is one and done. If it weren’t for that, the food is good the hounding for a good tip not so much. Also for what we paid here we could have went to a buffet and it would have been cheaper for all 5 of us to eat there.

The food is good but the staff are rude & uncaring. This is the second time I’ve had issues with a pickup order for a family meal of hamburger steak. This entree is just a hamburger patty, gravy or sauteed veggies are additional. Okay, but shouldn’t you tell customers that when they order? I asked for steak & gravy. When I called back, Nancy was very rude to me, even though I treated her with respect. I called back and asked to speak to the owner. A man named Carrol treated me with the same apathy as Nancy. They didn’t care at all about my experience. Even though they’re food is good & a good value, I will never spend another penny there because of the low moral standard of the staff. I guess the customer isn’t always right there.

Stopped here on our way to Nashville and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We started with the pepper jack cheese bites with ranch and they were tasty, and then I got the Santa Fe chicken sandwich (added mayo) and it was pretty good, if a little bit dry. My boyfriend got the barbecue and enjoyed it, but wasn’t a big fan of the onion rings. He did however thoroughly enjoy the broccoli and cheese soup, and said it was delicious. Our service was great and our waitress was super sweet and very attentive, keeping our drinks refilled and checking in regularly (but not too much, as some restaurants do). Overall it was a very positive experience! Would absolutely recommend.

For 2:00 on a Monday, service was A bit slow. Food was ok. If you paid cash (we did) you got a 4% discount. Server was great, steak was tough, but had good flavor. But I have to say, I am really tired of restaurants not having condiments on the table. You ask for steak sauce, and you get it in a small cup. I know times are tough (I truly do, this trip was a last minute trip for a family reason, we can’t afford a vacation right now) but not every customer is going to steal your steak sauce.

One of us ordered the fried shrimp dinner $15.00. Came with soup, salad and fries.
French onion soup was ok, salad was fantastic and fries were soggy. Only came with 6 shrimp which I though for $15 there would have been more.
Other person ordered the lunch ribeye sandwich with fries. The sandwich was amazing. Great taste.
