Absolutely wonderful experience! Showed up at 7:30 not realizing they closed at 8:00. Our waitress Tonya was phenomenal! We were trying to hurry because they were closing. Tonya said she didn’t mind and treated us like family! She knew the menu well and was able to tell my wife their gluten free options. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. Will be back!!

We were driving back to Denver from Rocky Mountain National Park and stopped at Smokin Dave’s. We were sat right away and our food came quick. My daughter and I shared the BBQ sampler. All of the food was very good. My favorites were the ribs and beans.

Great place, we set in the back since we had a large party. It was cold in the back, people were talking about going to go get there jacket. Service was great, especially since we had a large party. Food came out pretty quick and the waitress kept our drinks full. The beans were amazing, fried okra was perfectly cooked, cornbread was delicious, the jalapeño cheddar sausage was delicious, the ribs were disappointing because they were almost all fat. The ribs were what I was waiting for due to all the rave about them. Others with our group said the food was good but some of the meats were really fatty. I would definitely go back but would try something different next time. If you like BQ, then you definitely need to try the place.

We ordered catering for 40 people from Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ in Lyons, including pulled pork, potato salad, and baked beans, for a tenant appreciation event. The entire experience, from placing the order and receiving helpful catering suggestions to the smooth pickup process, was excellent. I was warmly greeted at the restaurant, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was outstanding. Thanks to the team at this location, our event was a great success.

Well, hubby and I agree, we have a new favorite bbq sauce! We had a wonderful lunch here after the Old Man Winter Rally. I especially enjoyed the cornbread muffins. Our server brought a side of their blackberry bbq sauce, it was great! I wouldn’t do the wings gain, I’ll try the pulled pork next time.

I ordered the 2 meats combo, the ribs were fantastic, perfectly cooked and the brisket was juicy and full of flavor. It came with a delicious corn bread, side of bbq beans and sweet potato fries, I highly recommend Dave’s BBQ!

We had rather low hopes for this place. It’s a local chain that looks a bit too polished to really specialize in smoking good meat. But we were surprised.
We ordered the Dave’s Triple Platter for the two of us and we were not disappointed by the quality or quantity of food. Everything was great, but I think the brisket and the sausages were our favorites.
We were super hungry after hiking all day without food – and this mound of meat did us in for the night.

I stop by Dave’s almost every time I go up hill..
Never never disappoints, spot on bbq every time. Stopped in on Sunday and as always were a little busy but definitely worth the wait.
Brisket is my go to and a perfect choice every time. Although my friend had the Mac n chews and man I loved the taste she gave me.
Mac n cheese bowl and brisket on top, oh ya omg it was so good. But I always like others choices haha. Oh and their close slaw is also always perfect, especially with the brisket
Stop if you can you’ll be very pleased

This was our second visit, it was disappointing and actually disgusting in one case. My chicken fried chicken was overcooked, the kid’s chicken strips were the same. Some of the food was cold when it came out. It also tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed in months. The Mac and cheese and fries were good. One of rhe guests at our table ordered the Texas Brisket. What came out was almost all fat, to the point where he couldn’t even eat it. It was gross. The cornbread muffins came out late and didn’t have any jalepenos in them. When we went to order dessert they were out of some things. There was only one waitress and she wasn’t a good one. The entire meal was a disappointment. We had a $175 plus tab with only one beer. The food wasn’t worth it and the service was terrible. The Famous Dave’s in Estes is fantastic, this one is terrible. Seems like they were more interested in all the drunks at the bar
