An all around great experience! Decided to try some Chicago style deep dish pizza while and town, and Taste of Chicago Pizza in Addison was recommended. Let me tell you, I had a wonderful experience on every front! The pizza is absolutely delicious! I love pizza and I’ve eaten quite a bit of it, and typically I never think about the sauce (usually it’s just there to hold the toppings in place), but at Taste of Chicago, the sauce is a main character! The sauce is phenomenal, so very flavorful! The toppings, crust, CHEESE, CHEESE, & CHEESE, are amazing! The restaurant itself is beautiful (has a romantic kind of feel), and lastly, but definitely not least of all, the service is above and beyond! Our server, had to be the most attentive and kind server I’ve ever had! He was prompt, professional, kind and attentive beyond words (my drink never got below halfway)! Family wanted Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza so decided to go here for dinner. Ordered the 14″ large with half cheese and half pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Took 45 minutes to make which we didn’t know so recommend calling the order in and then showing up to eat or pick it up. Staff was very kind and attentive. Restaurant is comfy and casual which works on cold days with the family. Recommend this spot and will definitely go again.

The pizza and fried ravioli were excellent. Like walking into my favorite pizza joint in Chicago. Word to the wise, stay away from the large deep dish unless you’re really hungry, it’s a lot of food. Will definitely be back!

Good things come to those who wait. I thought the 40-45 min wait time was a bit much because i was very hungry, but i miss that Chicago pizza. Luckily, the sharables were ready in 6-7 min. The meatballs were very good and it comes with bread. The pizza was so good, and the cheese and the crust were like nothing those fast chains could deliver. As i paid, i was devastating by the news that they would be closing on Oct 27th when i just found out about this place! Get out here soon!

The Cheese Curds, Toasted Ravioli and Chicago style deep dish were all amazing! Our server Maria was very nice!
However the atmosphere, not so much.
The dining areas was fine but the music from the kitchen was a bit much but we could tell it was only to try and over shadow the thumping club next door (yes, even on a Sunday mid day) and the bathrooms are in pretty desperate need of maintenance/repair.

Our server was attentive and made excellent recommendations. This spot truly captures the best of Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza – we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We had such a great time at Taste of Chicago. We ordered the deep dish supreme and it was awesome. We also ordered the sampler appetizer plate and a salad. My kids and husband ate the sampler and they thoroughly enjoyed it. This pizza was so good. The crust was quite unique. It was crispy and thin but not greasy. We ordered a medium that says it feeds 3-4, but we had enough to have this again for dinner the next night. We made sure to save room for dessert. My son requested the red velvet cake and my husband ordered the Italian cream cake. I preferred the red velvet. These desserts were huge. I would highly recommend this place. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We made reservations on the website since it was a Saturday night and we were seated right away. Check out the pics from our dinner.

We ordered food via GrubHub. I posted a review there but could not include pictures so I am also posting here so I can provide visuals of our order.
We like the idea of a build your own calzone and stromboli so we decided to give them a try. We would not recommend them.
Calzone: The dough was thick, crumbly and so dry that even the sauce didn’t help. It was pretty bland tasting too.
Stromboli: It looked like it was kid sized and pretty dark on the outside. The inside had a lot of raw dough. Originally, my husband thought it was cheese but raw dough doesn’t taste like melted cheese.
Cheese sticks: Again, think dry crust and tasteless.
Cannoli: I love a good cannoli. You know the kind with the crunchy cone. Well, there was no crunch on this one. I can’t tell you what it tasted like because when I touched the outside and it felt more like a crepe than a cannoli, I was out. It went straight to the trash. I don’t know if it was frozen or just old but I wasn’t risking getting sick especially after the raw dough.
Go anywhere else.

We came because my wife was looking for a real Chicago style pizza somewhere in this area. She was quite satisfied when we left. The supreme pizza was really good even though the crust was a little overcooked. We also had the sampler. The soy garlic sauce on the wings was an absolute winner, but be prepared, it is a little spicy.

Went here a few weeks ago for lunch, and it was amazing!!! Maria was very attentive and friendly. We had a deep dish pizza, a chicago dog, kids’ pizza, and kids spaghetti. Everyone got something they liked, and we all went home happy and full. Will definitely visit again.
