The food and hospitality here are legit. We had a variety of the offerings and shared. No one walked away hungry. Expect a little sweetness to the food, it can be somewhat overwhelming. Get the SPAM rolls. Facility could have been a little nicer, but was still a good meal.

Had been wanting to try this place since we saw it a few months back when we moved into the area. Have been to Hawaii multiple times and love the culture and cuisine. Customer service was nothing to write home about, they were having some technology issues with their pos system, understandable things happen, we’re aware of that.

Always looking for new lunch spots around UMBC, and was very pleased with this place. I just tried it for the first time today, and the Kalak Attack burger was amazing, so flavorful and savory! It feels a little out of place in Arbutus, but the staff was very friendly and I got good vibes there. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Let me start by saying that The Surfer’s Delight is the single best burger I’ve ever eaten–and I subsist nearly entirely off of burgers. The pineapple is ripe, the guac has mango in it, and Robert hand-makes the bacon to perfection. Have you ever heard that something is so good you would want to slap your mama? This is so good you’ll want to slap every last one of your ancestors.

The first time I ate at this place it was awesome, then the quality of the food sharply declined on my next visit. I figured they were having an off day. I went there with my husband on Sunday (he’d never been there before). He got a beef burger from the regular menu and I got a teriyaki pork burger from the specials board. His burger was obviously a premade frozen patty. It looked like a hockey puck and had no flavor. He took two bites and scrapped it. My pork burger was definitely homemade but there was no noticeable teriyaki flavor and the patty was very pink inside. They also forgot the pineapple that was mentioned as a topping. The underdone pork grossed me out so I scrapped mine too. Sorry TOA. I wanted to love you because you’re a small business close to our home, but never again.

The food was great. I got the mahi tacos and the banana lumpia. Both were hot fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very cute, but it was hot inside. We sat outside because at least then there’s a breeze.

Small and possibly not well known place to eat around the UMBC campus area, food was very good although the size was a bit on the smaller side. Staff was very nice too and the interior is good for a few groups if you wish to dine-in.

Took my husband here recently. Being a Hawai’i girl, I’m very picky when It comes to “Hawaiian Food”. Taste of Aloha blew me away! If it weren’t for the cold weather outside, I would swear I was back home. Poke, Musubi, Kahuku shrimp and Kalua Pig and Cabbage were so ONO!!! (They also have Hawaiian Sun drinks…whaaaaat??!) Taste of Aloha embodies what you’d expect from Hawai’i…good food, great people and a real sense of Aloha. The owner spent time with us just talking story and even came into the dining area and offered everyone poi! My Haole husband had poi for the first time that day and LOVED it…I was shocked!!
