Delicious food, nice interior, and fast service! My only complaint was the grill smell, which is overwhelming if you’re dining in (wish the ventilation was better). Yummy food overall. Falafel was not good.

Ordered the loaded fries with pork gyro meat and a chicken souvlaki pita for my wife and I. It was very flavorful and the portion sizes were good, considering how much we spent. The takeout bag was genuinely heavy. The loaded fries came with a large tub of tziki sauce, which was nice. Also, my order took a little longer than some of the others to make, but the staff were on top of things. They paid attention to me and let me know that it was just because the loaded fries were taking longer to make. Overall we plan on returning.
An earlier review expressed concern that there was a mandatory 17% tip. The guy taking my order manually skipped the tipping screen without even giving me the chance to leave one, which was nice.

This place is truly a gem! The food is authentic, delicious, and consistent. The staff is extremely kind and makes you feel welcomed. I also love that they have late hours now. I have been on the hunt for a good local Greek food spot and this one feels casual and affordable while maintaining great quality.

So I rarely take the time to do reviews, but today I felt like this spot deserved it. Taste Greek is the best place for lunch in this area.
I’ve been getting take out lunch from Taste Greek for almost a year now, as I work in the area. I’ve tried a variety of things on the menu, and everything goes crazy. Prices are reasonable, the service is always quick and friendly. But today, I finally got the Wednesday special of 2 chicken leg quarters with two sides for $12, and honestly I’m blown away. The chicken couldn’t have been cooked any better. Fall off the bone. And so much quantity for the price, I’m mad at myself for not going every Wednesday. I didn’t get a picture today but here is a picture of their Greek salad with chicken I had another time.
Thanks Taste Greek !!!!

If you’re looking for great Greek food in Westmont, Taste Greek Street Food is a fantastic choice. This was my first time dining here, and I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. My wife and I have talked about visiting for years, and now that I’ve finally experienced it, I regret not going sooner. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the food quality is impressive. I ordered the Chicago Gyros entrée plate along with Tryopita, and both dishes were delicious. The entrée plate was generous enough to easily share or save for another meal.

First time here – kept driving past while running errands. This time we stopped to try it. 1/2 of a wrap and 1/2 of a soup is a very filling meal. It is outstanding. We will be back!!

We went to the grocery store nearby and gave this place a try. They had three parking spots reserved for pickup orders; there is a QR code on each spot, and you can order from your car on your phone. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greater by a rustic beachy vibe. All of the tables had long backless picnic benches, and the large hightop table had back stools. All of us are over 60 and had trouble getting in and out of the benches and would appreciate a traditional chair option. The menu is extensive and only over the counter. We were standing there for a few minutes and had questions. My friend said he felt rushed by he counter staff. There were three other tables there, but the restaurant did not seem busy. We got our food and found huge portions.
They use red onion at this lace, and other gyro stands in Chicago I have been to use white onion, but it did not deter from the sandwich. The gyro platter had 1/2 pound of meat, plenty of onion slices and half of a large tomato, sliced. I had the pork gyro; I found it vary salty. I am not sure if the pork gyro was the same as the pork belly gyro featured as on Tuesdays for $8. Two of my other friends had the chicken gyro. We had to ask because they also had a grilled chicken pita. The difference is that the grilled chicken pita is a chicken breast on the char grill, and the chicken gyro is white and dark meat cooked on a spigot. Again, there is a huge amount of food. On the chicken gyro, surprisingly, the sandwich had two fries inside, both chicken Gyros and my pork gyro had two fried potatoes each. I also had a grilled bone-in pork chop that was delicious and for $4.50, well worth it as an add-on. We all felt it as worthy of a second visit.

The Gyros taste good, a little small for $13, or the price is just too high, the food is pricey, 2 gyros and one fries for $ 30 and a dollar for a side sauce!? And not to mention the tip, min %17, $38 total! I don’t blame them for the price, but I would stay at $9.99 for a gyro and consider that people would tip, need to make sure people come back! Again I don’t blame them but need to consider that $38 is a lot for 2, maybe lower the tip option for %12 and %15. You want customer to come back again. Restaurants biggest mistake is thinking that food is expensive, in reality it’s Labor and rent, so consider bringing people back, maybe $10 gyro would make them happy and they’d buy fries and drink without hesitation. So you make more money and they come back for sure
