Being from Southern California it’s hard to find good Mexican food but I can honestly say I was not disappointed. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. This place is a must go to if you’re in town. I’ve been here several times this week and I’ll come back the next time I’m up here

Not sure how this place gets the reviews it does. Chips were stale and the salsa was nasty. The fajitas I ordered were just ok. There was minimal chicken and tons of veggies. The tortillas were rock hard. For dinner time it was very dead in there. Might have been 4 of us at the bar with just a couple people sitting down. The folks at the bar seemed like regulars. So assuming it was just a few of us that were there for the food. I would search around for more of an authentic Mexican experience.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Anchorage, the food is always yummy and the service is always so nice and friendly. The food is delicious and a good portion for the price.

We had my mother in laws 60th birthday dinner here and it was the heat. The entire staff went hard did an excellent job catering to our every need. There were over 30 of us and our waiter Samael ensured everyone’s drinks were topped off and we had plenty of chips and dip till the food arrived. Samael was pedal to the metal the entire night and this guy goes hard which I really admire. This establishment will continue to receive my hard earned American dollars.

I walked in, and sat at the bar. There was only one other person at the bar. I sat for almost 10 minutes before the bartender showed up.
They offered chips and salsa. They only gave me a half full 2oz ramekin of salsa. Enough for about 10 chips. I ordered the chicken enchiladas in mole sauce. Not only was the mole sauce terrible, but I bit into a chicken bone that cut my gum open. I told the bartender. He seemed to not care one bit. The portions were small for the price. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and definitely will not return.

Honestly my favorite mexican restaurant in anchorage (this coming from a person from San Diego). The prices are very fair considering the “Alaskan tax” and the service was extraordinary. Me and two buddies got there around 6pm on a Saturday night and someone quickly walked us to our table. We were rapidly served with our waters and chips/salsa. The food came out very quickly as well and the servers came by 3x to refill our waters and chips! 10/10 would definitely come back!

The worst food I ever ate. Old, stale chips. Salsa sucks bad. Skinny Margarita made with mixer instead of fresh squeeze lime. OMG, I am almost sure the guac is store bought. It was old and grey. Waiter said they make it in the mornings. Eew. The Chile Rellanos was DISGUSTING! Mouth full of old rancid oil. Chile Colorado tasted old and cold. I think they just reheated it from a fridge or freezer. The beans were watered down almost sure from a can. This place was good twenty years ago. Now its the worst food of all food I have ever had.

Everything was bland. No flavor chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. Onions were burnt, the corn tortillas didn’t even taste like corn tortillas. Only thing that was good was the water, tea was ok. Don’t recommend this place at all.

The menu has three taquitos. Which I thought they where rolled and fried like flautas. But they where chicken tacos. The chicken was cold.
I told this guy that I thought there were the rolled ones. He laughed and said no, then Said enjoy. They had flautas on the menu. He didn’t even ask me to switch them.
Total garbage place.
