So, I hit up Taste of Everest in Manhattan and let me tell you, it was quite an experience! I decided to go all out and got myself a veg thali and a non-veg thali. And just when I thought I couldn’t indulge more, I couldn’t resist trying their fried chicken momos – talk about a flavor adventure!

The Nepalese food here is tasty, similar to Indo-Chinese food but more flavorful. The chili chicken momos were very pungent and spicy! We also really liked the veg chowmein. A great spot that’s also open late.

Amazing service and food quality. We went for snacks and had jhol Momo’s, masala tea and pakora and it was definitely worth trying. Jhol Momo’s are best. It’s not too expensive considering NYC. They do have clean restrooms and the ambience is pretty good as well.

Modest decor but fresh and tasty food. A new experience for the palate to have Indian flavors in a Nepali blend. The chili chicken mono’s were great and the tandoori chicken was quite a different, busy tasty, experience. The hot pot (stew) was good as well. All in all, it was a great lunch that was reasonably priced.

Food is the perfect amount of spice. Enough to make my lips tingle. And it is reasonably priced! Ordered the samosa and chicken curry. Ate a whole samosa before I took the video. Delish!

Food was good, hearty, (generally asian) comfort food.

Had a very good experience here, the server was very attentive and friendly. There was nice heat with the masala dishes that we ordered spicy. Very satisfying if you’ve never had Nepalese cuisine before. Definitely returning as I found this place a very good value as well.

Could be more comfortable chairs, Food doesn’t have any kind of taste from Everest. It’s more of a fast food restaurant than a cool dining place. We understand it’s New York but that’s not an excuse.
