I went here for the second time today. What a joy it is to have a place like this in Anniston! It’s a bright, casual, order-at-the-counter sort of spot (though they have plans for a full-service restaurant), and it is the best example of this type of restaurant. Not only is the atmosphere cozy and inviting for this type of casual joint, but the service and the food are phenomenal. Everything I’ve had is excellent, and the coconut soup is the best I’ve ever had. You can really tell that everything is fresh and homemade, and some of the dishes are really unique, like “Mom’s pork soup” (delicious) and the pork panang curry (definitely going to try that next time). The bubble teas are excellent, and the owners are sweet as can be. I’ll definitely be back.

Pleasantly surprised with this wonderful Thai restaurant in Anniston. Everyone in our group agreed it was delicious with good portion sizes. Tons of flavor. Not as spicy as some other Thai places I’ve been. The food took a little while but it was clearly freshly made.

Food was absolutely delicious–Drunken Noodles were some of the best we’ve ever had. Pad Thai and Panang Curry were incredible as well. Very friendly, kind, and generous staff–will absolutely stop back here if we’re in the area again.

The Massaman Chicken is SO GOOD and flavorful!! Their Thai tea with boba is perfection, and I LOVE that they let you customize the sweetness level! Also, the gentleman working was very kind, and great to talk to.
I got level one spice for my first time ordering, and it was just enough to give the dish a little warmth. I’ll probably try level 2 next time for a little more of a punch.
Also, the take out portion filled the container, and I love that the container is reusable. I’ll definitely be back!!

Absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly staff, excellent dish variety, wonderful flavor and generous portion sizes!
Two stand out dishes especially notable for the fact that they are so rarely cooked in Thai fashion here in the states; the green curry, complete with Thai green eggplants, holy basil and jasmine rice and the Panang, cooked by reducing down the coconut milk into a nearly ‘dry’ and spicy curry, rather than the more soupy Americanized versions.
Everything is absolutely top tier, and the chef checked in and was only too happy to tell us about the different dishes.
I don’t even live near Anniston, but I’ll be back for sure!

The owner Mike of the Tass Thai Restaurant never chose to notice me, nor his wife either – she just kept scrubbing the tables. I was there for 20 minutes looking at my phone – three habitués of the place came in, seated themselves, were greeted by Mike, given forks, and I continued to be ignored. I will never set foot in that place again.

Mom’s Pork Noodle Soup, might not have the name exactly right, was crazy good. Small place for now but expanding into a larger dining room soon. I’ll be back.
