Avoid this place!
Don’t waste your money on the cold baklava — one small piece costs $8–9, two portion is 50$ insanely!! and the other kinds are among the worst you’ll find in the area. There’s no pistachio or walnut, just sugar and milk — absolutely no flavor! Tea is overpriced too ($4 for a tiny glass). Packed products are stale and not fresh, and there’s no proper service at all.

Desserts overall are overly sweet, low-quality, and overpriced — and I’ve tried nearly all of them. The only decent thing here is the börek, but make sure to buy it fresh in person. Never order for delivery — they always send leftovers.

Honestly, it’s not worth stopping by. Locals don’t come anymore; only travelers passing through. The baked goods are far below the standard of any average bakery in Turkey. The place is losing its reputation fast and gives Turkish cuisine a bad name. They shouldn’t take advantage of people who simply miss real Turkish bakery food! Very sad for Turkish bakeries and businesses ethics, bad reputation.

Hospitality was amazing! Everyone was nice. It felt like I was in Turkey and the food was really good. Highly recommend! They have parking in the back which is very convenient.

I can say it’s the best place in terms of their hospitality and the products they offer. Also, the fact that it’s open 24 hours is a great advantage for people like us who work at night. Thanks again!

Terrible experience.
They charged $20 for just 3 slices of baklava, and the quality was absolutely unacceptable. The inside was basically empty no pistachios, no walnuts, no hazelnuts. It was dry, tasteless, and clearly not worth the price.

This feels like a rip off and extremely misleading to customers. For a food business operating in New Jersey, this level of quality, pricing, and misrepresentation is not acceptable under basic NJ food business and consumer protection standards.

I will be filing complaints with the appropriate authorities.
Do not waste your money here. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

This Bakery in Paterson is a gem — warm atmosphere, helpful staff, and a dazzling display of Turkish breads and pastries. Their tres leches is a showstopper: light sponge soaked just right, rich yet balanced, and utterly satisfying. A must‑visit for dessert lovers.

Taskin Bakery is a gem. The breads, pides, simits lachmajuns, baklavas, pastries, cakes!!! So much variety and everything fresh.
Whoever designed the decor, kudos to you. Very welcoming atmosphere and clean.
And the service, OUTSTANDING!
My only disappointment, no half and half on the service bar for my coffee.

Taskene Bakery is a hidden gem! Their bakery selection is always fresh, and the bread tastes just like homemade. I tried their pizza and was blown away by the flavors. The Turkish baklava is rich and flaky—just perfect. If you’re a coffee or tea lover, their Turkish brews are a must-try. Cozy vibe and great service too!

The variety of traditional Turkish pastries, bread, and desserts is impressive. I’ve tried several items, including the flakiest, most buttery baklava I’ve ever tasted, and the softest, most flavorful simit, cheese butek… and of course must try the Turkish coffee!

The prices are very reasonable, and the service is top-notch. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and happy to answer any questions about their products.

I’ve already recommended this bakery to friends and family, and I’ll definitely be back for more. If you’re a fan of Turkish cuisine or just looking to try something new, do yourself a favor and visit this amazing bakery!

Nice place to get some coffee with Turkish traditional bagels, boreks, desserts and of course baklava. My fav is KAZANDIBI, you should shoot your shot for this dessert. Taskin is generational bakery and protecting their quality. I recommend you to visit and try their baklavas and other traditional arts.
