Staff is super friendly and quick. And best of all, they had Grits… which made my husband a super happy customer… very good, I might add…

I’ve always loved going to diners ever since I was a kid growing up in Orlando Florida. So when I saw Tarts 50’s Diner advertised on social media, I couldn’t wait to give them a try. I thought it was a brand new business but apparently they are well established here in Dunn North Carolina but under new ownership. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. The wait staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. I even had the opportunity to meet and speak with the owner. 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while heading South on I-95. Much to our surprise, Tart’s is a little gem of a diner. From the 50’s decor, to the ideal diner menu and friendly staff, this is now our go-to place when traveling. The owner, Connie, has made this into a spotless through back with fabulous food and exceptionally reasonable prices. It all adds up to a great value for anyone passing by.

The beef soup was terrible. 1st it was hamburger not beef. It was more like a stew. Wasn’t any broth. Tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes. Toast came out cold. Gave you melted butter. Okay if you like greasy toast.
