Amira Grill is a hidden gem on Colorado Boulevard. Don’t expect a fancy dining room, it’s more of a casual diner or takeout spot, but that’s part of the charm. The space is small, with seating for about 10–20 people, plus a few outdoor tables if you want to enjoy your meal outside.
I ordered the mixed meat plate with chicken and beef, and it was excellent. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and clearly cooked fresh. The hummus was creamy and delicious, and the garlic sauce with the warm pita was the perfect combination.
The owner is also the cook, which makes the whole place feel welcoming and authentic. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the portions are generous.
It’s the kind of place that’s perfect after a long day when you want something casual but really satisfying. If you’re craving authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean food in Denver, Amira Grill is definitely worth a visit.

We ate 2-11-26…theu had a big sign saying opening Jan. 30…maybe it was a remodle, reopen because how does it have 800 review already?
We walk in the the counter with 1 paper menu. The cashier talked a little about it. When she got to the section of taco’s, she kinda nervously laughed and said “We are still working on the menu”…even if the menu isn’t completely finalized, who in their right mind would put tacos on what was advertised out front as a Lebonese restaurant?
Upon seeing the menu, would I consider this Lebenese, no. It’s just an average Mediterranean style restaurant. Everything listed you would see at any other greek place….no lebenese specific dishes like kibbeh, shish taouk, kafta, or meghli.
We got baba ganoush, and a mixed grill plate. Both were just very average, with my guess you could get as good or better at the gyoro place next door.
It’s only saving grace was how the remodle looked…nice clean and bright. I just don’t go to restaurants because of how they look.
We will likely not return.

I got the chicken quesadilla, which hit the spot just right! Still great from when I came here six or so years ago. Pro tip: Use the spicy sauce. It’s identified by the photo of the bottle I added. It makes everything delicious!

Had the Gyros plate but given less than half a pita in triangle pieces. Old owner gave large hot from the oven fresh pita. I won’t be back. Crave is much better.

Best chicken shawarma I’ve had in Denver. HANDS DOWN! The ratio of chicken, toum, fries and pickles was spot on. If you want a classic Lebanese style shawarma don’t waste your time anywhere else.

My meal was excellent, I had the lamb kabob. I definitely want to eat here again, my only issue was the customer service. My waitress was more interested in making out with her man than checking on me or the other customers in the restaurant. Eventually I waved her down to get a box. The meal was definitely 5 stars. Keep up the great work.

Once again, my co-worker surprised me with lunch today. First time experience eating lebanese food. The meal was very flavorful. The portion was huge enough to have two meals. Recommend this location.

This location is much smaller than the previous. I had a chicken shawarma sandwich and a side of hummus. The hummus is wonderful and the chicken shawarma had soft delicious bread and moist tender chicken. I know everywhere has chicken shawarma but Amira’s is just better! The tabouleh is MARVELOUS, it has the proper amount of lemon and salt ratio and I will come by even just to fill my tabouleh fix when I’m not that hungry or don’t have time to sit and eat a full meal. This place is at least 20 minutes from work but worth the travel time when I have time to go. I came with a friend this last visit and we ordered and sat our food did not delay more than 10 minutes. The place is nice and clean well lit and open. Great place for a quick bite with no fuss and no disappointment. Oh! They’re sandwich is big compared to a lot of places I’ve gone. I took a picture w my hand for reference the sandwhich is 10-12 inches

The food was delicious but the people working there had no sense of customer service. We walk in and the lady there didn’t say hello or told us to find a seat. She just kept doing her own thing. We find a table and she doesn’t offer menus. We had to get up and find them. Then we had to keep looking for her for napkins and other stuff. Everyone was really rude there. Would not go again even though the food was good.

The Chicken and other meat was dry and for the whole plate, which they charge $17-18 minimum, the meat quantity is more less like shaving truffle on pasta.
The salad was plain with no sauce.
One of the photos shows the hummus with meat plate, the amount of hummus provided is what we get for starters for a meat over hummus, what an absolute scam.
Just in the same street 1 min drive there are brilliant middle eastern restaurant. Baghdad & house of kabob. Please avoid this restaurant at all cost if you don’t want to be scammed.
